Awful performance from us, we couldn't controle the game. Fair play to West Ham though, they worked hard and kept going at us. But it isn't the end of the world, still 18 games to play. I hope Everton does the same to L'arse as WH has done to us today. West Ham deserved the win and I hope a loss like this keeps our boys focused for the rest of the season. It is not like Bolton where we were unlucky to lose, we only had one decent attack today and that was from our goal, but as I said we still have a lot of games to play and anything can happen

We should have send them down last season.

Yeah, they always seem to raise their game against us, they are slowly turning into our bogey team, but I am still confident that we will end this season on top of the league

West Ham usually play like that against us, i expected a possible trouble at Ham's place, but tbh i awaited a draw or something. This loss is somehow painful, especially with the weak performance the team produced.

It is very easy and usually handy dandy to throw all the **** at Fletcher, ubt i gotta tell you, he is not the one to blame. There are certain players that usually fall asleep in such a games, especially after we won the first half. But they never got criticized. Fletcher is rarely off form, yeah i agree he scores very rare, but the mdifielder job is not always to score, not to mention that he was not the one to miss a lot balls and to loose tones of midfield fight, so i would never blame him for today. ;)

The loss came at the right time, for the first time this season we were top of the league and became lacklustrious because of it, thinking we would come away with a victory without giving a 100%. There will be more oportunities for us to take the top spot, I hope by then we will be giving a 100% to stay on top for the remainder of the season

The reason we failed was not because the goals were conceided, but rather because the attacking players slept throughout the second half. We might have scored due to the penalty awarded, but let us be honest - the pen was given for Spector's handing the ball, which was not forced by any player of ours at all. It was just Spector being stupid and giving us a x-mas present, which was stupidly missed by CR7.

If i have to blame anybody this would be definitely Saha and Tevez. As for the third one to be blamed - it should be Ronaldo. Saha did so many wrong passes, throughout the WHOLE game. One of his mistakes could have led to Carlton Cole heading in it in the first half. And Tevez kept on losing the ball all the time.

Dimitar Berbatov's agent says the Spurs striker is interested in a move to a "big club".

I think we shoud try to get him to OT!
he is big, strong and can score amazing goals. We need one striker with his quality's.
Saha is good holding on the ball but he dont have Berbatovs finishing quality and Saha also is injuryprone so.....
i guess he wont be cheap after his performance for spurs this year!

Berbatov costs 25 mil Eu the least. Possibility would be to ship Wes Brown -as he will piss off at the end of the season anyway-, and Saha and pay less cash.
Cos let's be honest, we all await Saha to do something big 3 years now. And he can only score penalties against Celtic :s***:

I think we should stop bashing our players...it was one of those games. And no need to single out players...every single manutd player kept giving away the ball. Lets look forward. and for me Tevez and saha cant play together. Its either Rooney tevez or Rooney saha.

And about Berbatov...what a great signing he would be.

You are right about being one of those games, we got outplayed and we should know that there will be more of those games in the future. Our players can't perform great every match, they are also human

But I guess we don't need Berbatov anymore atm, considering the fact we have signed Manucho and surely he will be part of our squad from next season going. And I am quite content with a player like Manucho, then a player like Berbatov, because he won't be playing all the time and he knows that. Maybe we struck a goldmine in Manucho. Who knows.....We already have quality strikers and I think adding Berbatov may sound good, but I believe that it will only create problems.

have you ever actually seen Manucho play a decent amount of games??? You're choosing a completely unproven player over a proven world class striker?

Berbatov would be an immense signing, would give us a completely new option to our other striking choices. We definately need another new striker as neither Saha (injuries) or Manucho (completely unproven) are reliable choices at the moment.

Help?

Really, i don't see neither Spurs selling Berbatov nor United buying him. If we bought him that would be almost like we bought half the first team in a year. Don't get your hopes up because getting Berbatov could actually turn out to be too much striker competition than we want, which would leave somebody unhappy.

Wow i say :D
Manucho might be good, but i am asking now DOES ANYBODY WATCHED MANUCHO PLAY AT ALL!?!?! Or we just keep ourselves happy over some signing that happened only for Cueiros to get some fresh cash, since all Portugese and Angolan (Angola was ex-Portugese colony) signings are done relying on Cuieros's connections.

Ever since i support and follow United (late 90-s) there have been forwardss coming fresh into the club, and finally going out without achieving anything - Jordy Cruyff, David Bellion, David Healey .. The only strikers succesful in the club were Yorke, Cole, Teddy, Ole and RvN over a decade. All others, including Alan Smith were injury prone and didn't stand out.
So, i hardly believe Manucho will be something big, but let us not be negative about the future. In case he turns out to be furiously good replacement of Rooney - then ok, otherwise search for another striker, cos i don't see future in Saha.

LMAO please look at what you are saying before you let your big mouth run and make a fool out of yourself. Manucho is 24 years old, Rooney is 22. Tell me, how is an older player supposed to be a "replacement" for a younger star?

PS: learn to spell Queiroz
