I don't understand why Chelski fans are getting so upset. Football is about Cycles and I get the impression post roman you all thought you would be winning the premiership every year and playing sexy football ?

Well like life Football can disappoint , you have enjoyed 3 good years and now its your turn to have a little ass action , now be men and let us enjoy the return to the classic days of Arsenal and Man Utd battling it out for the title playing exciting , sexy football.

You guys need to regroup. Btw it's nothing personnel just way things are done between rival fans. You piss on my fire ill piss on yours etc etc

Trance you speak as Chelsea is out of it already. It's only December mate so down to earth please.
Chelsea is far from finished.

You can;t win the league in December, but you sure as hell can lose it. It;s all about the few league games that surround every EPL defeat. Win those and you can stay alive in December.

It's only december. we created many chances throughout the game and shevy had a pretty good game.

Ben Haim better step up, wats up with this dude, he was solid at Bolton, it seems hes nervous or something. Ballack is finally fit, interesting to see how Grant will play Lamps and Ballack.

Gawd, who said we're upset about the result, i've already accepted it as it....Arsenal won and thats it....we've moved on....

Sheva should play alongside Pizarro since he's more effective in 4-4-2, Ballack should get a run, not expecting him to start.......
I wonder if Liverpool will play their big names.....

Chelsea play amazin when they're playin with confidence, even though Liverpool were cagey (awful finishing in everythin though).

Wish Sidwell would've gotten more of a chance. Anyone else think that Schevchenko would make a great EPL winger? He's amazin on the flank even if you criticize him for not finishing enough.

Ballack was good, but he's not gonna be the same still as with Bayern. He seems a bit afraid or can't get into the action as well sometimes but when he has the ball, he's got amazin vision, passing, and shooting still.

Imagine if you combined Ballack's vision with Essien's skill going forward and aggressiveness, oh wait, it's called Frank Lampard (almost).

Should be a good confidence boost for the weekend.

I thought both sides managed to cancel each other out well tonight. It made for an interesting if sometimes scrappy game. Once Crouchy got his red card, the onus was on us to dominate the game, and Chelsea did that.

I still thought that Chelsea's passing at times was very sloppy though. They gave the ball away to easily at times. Very relieved to see Franks goal go in, and Sheva's goal was unstoppable. He did have a much improved game tonight. He works hard for the team. He got a nice ovation when he was subbed too.

Now we play Everton in the semi's, while Spurs get Arsenal.

Hahahahaha! Im sorry if I dont have the required wit to converse in the "Chels thread" but that was funny to me. Knowing the kind of bizzare character Eboue is, I could totally see him doing this.

Chelsea have nothing to worry about they will be in the top 6 no doubt a team like Chelsea's are too good to miss out on European football altogether.

people are stooped though and think that whenever a big team (like Arsenal) does good one season but is off next season (see unbeaten streak followed by mediocre season year) then everyone starts sayin 'They suck etc etc' Trash talking starts...

We've all known the whole time that Rafael Benitez :P could be managing the club and Chelsea would still qualify for Europe, but cos we're not winning now, everyone likes to say "Chelsea's shte"

Come to think of it, even Liverpool are in the race, not that far off and I wouldn't count Man U or Arse to be so invincible even though Man U were terrific last year.

jolly good, Spurs get Arsenal!! But Everton won't be an easy ride, especially with Yakubu in great form....he's caused problems for us in the past, lets hope he has a quiet game when they play against us.....
Ballack's back and it'll give us cover that we need when we lose Essien and Mikel...
I noticed Sinclair's back with us as well, I thought he went for a longer loan at QPR.....but its good to have him back, might as well give him a run in EPL games, I really think he's got a bright future with us....

tbh, I'd rather lose to Everton in the semis than possibly lose to the Arsenal youth team in the final, and I don't expect Spurs to go through even if they have a decent manager now.
Chelsea should be able to beat arse if Wenger starts a lesser side but if they lose than that embarrassment can't be good for the squad.

well thats just you.....no point if you go into a game thinking your gonna lose this game or the next game, thats just bollocks.......i wouldn't care what happened, its always better to make the finals than get knocked out in the semis.....we already beat the young arsenal side last season, what makes u think we can't do it again?

if we do lose, thats just part of the game......these are all professionals, they should be used to the embarassment of losing no matter who the opponent is....

In addition to that......We lost against Arsenal for the first time in 3 years last week end, but you (Nettles), have decided because of that, that we are in some way an inferior team. We lost ON THE DAY, and thats all their is to it.

We didn't lose to a better team. We were every bit as good if not better. Cech made a blunder and they scored a goal. Their GK saved them on more than one occassion. THAT alone was the only difference between the two teams.

Don't be so negative Nettles. It don't matter which Arsenal team Wenger wants to field, we will make sure that it's another 3 years until they get another sniff at beating us.

hehe, i never said that chelsea's inferior to arsenal. arsenal have a cracking manager though which makes the appear better than they I really feel they are. i don't really think have that big team aura to them that Chelsea or Man U or even Liverpool have. it's only the milk cup though so i don't care if we win it again or not but I'm just saying it's embarrasing to lose to an Arsenal youth squad in the finals if that happens.

eugh blackburn tommorrow, never look forward to seeing them play.

well, yer entitled to yer own opinion Nettles, but I don't see anything embarassing losing to a young Arsenal team.....they won away at Blackburn and i think that tells a lot about their potential....but I think we should save all of this until they actually beat Spurs in the Semis....
Against Blackburn in a few minutes, im watching it at home whilst enjoying a nice hot cocoa....
