is the database shrinking?

I tend to be a Lower League Club, but I always have the biggest database possible, and I always buy this Galway Utd player, John Russell, who never fails to be a fantastic midfilder! But this edition he isnt on it, along with a lot of foriegn youngsters im available to get on the cheap.

Can anyone help me clear this topic up?

Also make sure you have downloaded the fix to make the "huge" database accessible. Its not by default with this version and 2007.
