Can anyone tell me how to defend corners in this game? I've had every generation of this game since Winning Eleven 6, and one of the most frustrating parts has always been that you can dominate a game, give up 2 corners and lose 2-1. I started keeping track over the last few days with PES 2008 and over 50% of my oppositions corners are winding up in the back of my net. Very frustrating. Thanks for the help.

The answer to your question is spelled "supercancel"!
Before the computer strikes the corner check your radar an position your players close to the opponents players, then when the ball comes into the box use supercancel to get infront and clear the ball (or get your opponent off balance with a tackle). It takes some practice but when you get the hang of it you will see positive results mate

Super cancel to position your players and bring extra players to the box to help there.

I myself use this method, make sure one of your players in the box has the cursor on him, then just as the corner kick is taken press and hold down R2 (This will give you control of your highlighted player in the box), then as the ball is coming towards your player press x to head the ball away. This works pretty much everytime but you need to press r2 at the same time as the kicker kicks the corner kick.mnb128;2433002 said:
