The first Superpatch from ProEvoluti has just come out!
This is the content:
  • Updated names, transfers and line ups
  • Created Stuttgart and Werder Bremen
  • Created all Premier League teams kits (from EvoWeb guys :))
  • Created Stuttgart and Werder Bremen kits
  • Updated kits for: Genoa, Empoli and Lazio
  • Updated badges for Premier League teams
  • Champions League adboards

Great patch , only works for off line play. Online still has the same crappy konami kits. Anyway of making it work online play as well ?

i have but its not working right. Ive tried a few times something is up with it or im doin it wrong. I followed the readme but some stuff didint make sense?? Ill try again later tonight.

i m using afs explorer 3.0 and i tried many times to patch cv_0.img... but it seems like it is not replacing any files or anything =/.... when i save it and load it... it crashes pes2008
can anyone help?

Mate I'm just not getting this working at all. If possible could you give step by step instructions because I'm not able to follow correctly the 'readme' file in the .rar.

everytime i try to load my cv_0.img file it says file corrupted, i then reinstalled my game and still, file corrupted on a brand new install. i never get these things to work with afs Explorer.

Open AFS Explorer 3.7 (you can find it in the first page of this thread) and open the cv_0.img file, reply NO to the first questions so you won't have to rebuild the img file. Now click on action\import folder. Choose to import the cv_0 folder from my Superpatch.
The tool will ask you if you want to rebuild the file in order to import some file that need more reserved space. Here you choose YES, and choose the name and where to save the new file. Save the new file to the same directory of cv_0.img and name it cv_0NEW.img (remember to save it with the .img extension). Wait few minutes the importing process and then you can close the program.
Now go to the PES 2008\img directory, delete the cv_0.img file and rename the cv_0NEW.img to cv_0.img.
This time you must succeed mates!
It's really step by step, guys...

Must this work with the save file included?

I find that i cant get the save file to work.


If it need not the save file to work then i have already done all the steps and the Jersey is still the same as default.

The only changes are the Clubs badges, the clubs names remain unchanged.

I guess you have the "common problem" about the loading of the option file...
You have to go to Edit mode and load it everytime you start the game...
Try this tip and let me know about it!

Great patch. Adds some much needed life to PES2008. However I have one issue that dearly hope can be fixed. How can I get the newly installed kits to appear on my Master League team? Every other team in the league has the new kits but my own team. Any thoughts?

Master League team is the only one that can't have his own kits :(
Oh.. Well.. I've tried many times without succeeding in doing their kits, but maybe I'm doing something wrong..!

Do i need the newiest PES2008 patch?
