great game by us yesterday, but i agree with argullovikingo we wouldnt of ran riot over them like yesterday had they had villa, baraja, canizariz. if they hadnt just sacked theire coach etc. but it was still a great performance never the less, the best so far this season.

Guti was man of the match IMO. every one played theire part, and the thing i most like yesterday is that everyone in the pitch gave a 100%, when the whole team does that youll always have a chance of winning. now lets keep this form up.

I'm not taking anything away from our players. I am just pointing out that we played a very unusual Valencia who has been losing lately, sacked their coach and i sgoing through a rough patch spiritually. This can't be denied dude. It does make a difference. However, I still believe we would have beaten them at home even if they were on their game, but not by a 1-5 goals, most likely...then again you never know.

You guys have a lot more momentum going into this match that we do, but it's been a while since you've won in the Sanchez Pizjuan... the 2002/2003 season in fact. I hope we can keep up our home record against you guys.

We've got Kanoute and Drago back, so I'm hoping our starting 11 looks like this:

--------------Palop-----------------
Alves ---- Fazio --- Drago --- Crespo
-------------Poulsen----------------
Navas---------Keita----------Adriano
-----Luis Fabiano --- Kanoute -------

Btw, if you're watching the match, keep an eye on Seidou Keita. He's been phenomenal but he's not getting nearly enough credit for his work.

tonight's match will be really difficult. i have this feeling we wont be happy after it :). But the team has surprised me many times this season, so lets hope they do it one more time.

Tough deal tonight with Sevilla, that is probably one team I wouldnt want to play if I was a coach, they are just dangerous. On a bad day they lose scandalous, but on the good days nobody can touch them, specially at Sanchez Pizjuan.....tough match...

 Marca has outdone themselves this week. Every day they reported a new player leaving Sevilla, just to manipulate the coming match. First it was Dani Alves and Kanoute who would follow Juande to Tottenham. Then we were getting a new forward to "replace Luis Fabiano who wants to leave." Today, right below the headline is "Kerzhakov is on his way out of Sevilla." None of this is even remotely true. What a disgusting display of Madrid bias.

10 minutes in and we've seen some brilliant attacking from both sides. I'm watching on TV, but I'm listening through SFC radio and you barely hear the announcer over the crowd. Sounds like a wonderful atmosphere.

VAYA GOLAZO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEIDOU KEITA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Y LUIS FABIANO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2-0!

We're winning in spite of the referee who is blowing everything in Madrid's favor. Especially the penalty that Diarra just blatently committed on Jesus Navas. We're just going to show that we can win anyways.

VAMOS MI SEVILLA!!

Sevilla 2-0 Madrid 30 mins so far, great game, two lighting goal for sevilla when they really didnt deserve them but that is football...Madrid is not playing poorly thought except for the two CB

We didn't deserve them? Are you reading Marca's commentary? Until that point we had more chances on goal. We were losing control of the midfield, but that doesn't mean we didn't deserve the goals.

Fazio's injured :( Now we're putting in Mosquera, an untested CB in our squad. I have a bad feeling about this.

I have to repeat again... the ref's calls continue to go in Real's favor. Yellow card to Dani Alves when he got the ball. Now he can't play aggressively anymore. And the penalty on Navas........ it could've been 3-0 right now.

edit: Now Diarra elbows Crespo in the face, drawing blood. Then Raul steps on Keita's neck, prompting him to ask for a substitution. AND SEVILLA GETS CALLED FOR A FOUL. Scandelous this.

Sergio Ramos fouls Keita, pushes him, then grabs him by the neck. Keita did absolutely nothing and both are given yellows.

The elbow to Crespo's face has taken him out of the game. Absolutely scandalous.

BTW, I am not ranting because of Real Madrid, although they are playing very dirty, I am ranting against the referee.

i'm sorry sevillista but at that point of the game madrid was playing better....and as far as the fouls I will agree on the penalty, but the fact of the matter is that those boys are hitting each other pretty hard outhere, a lot of elbows, and kicks both ways, the ref is incorrectly letting everything go

That's bullsh*t. We have:
-Adriano with a possibly broken nose
-Crespo with a broken cheek bone
-Keita with his neck stepped on

What's the worst that has happened to a Madrid player?
And where are the yellow cards?

well a good first half for the neutral....physical as all get out, a quality goal and drama.....Madrid has resorted the last 5 minutes to punching their way to a tie, I dont like that, the ref is horrendous IMO, he is the same guy that refereed the Madrid-Almeria, so this is not a shock to me....We are going to need to work and work hard to pull a result here, at this point a draw would make me, happy, Sevilla are playing inspired

Edit:

Albes, Keita

And

Ramos for madrid have all yellows....say what you will, the punishment is being dished out by both sets of players, they are all going after each other

That's very easy to say, but it's not true. What has Sevilla done to Madrid? Nothing worse than a tough challenge. We've got two players with trauma's to the face (Crespo, Adriano), one to the neck (Keita), and one player cut down from behind on a clear counter attack (Capel), and no yellow cards to show for it. And let's not forget the penalty. It's a joke that Keita and Dani Alves have yellow cards for nothing, and Diarra hasn't even been called for a foul.

You have to understand that Real Madrid has a long history of coming into the Sanchez Pizjuan and winning in scandalous fashion. That's fact. Whether the referee's actions today are biased or just incompetent, it's very frustrating to watch.

edit: Crespo has been taken to the hospital

I don't think Raul deserved the yellow, but it would have been a very weak penalty had it been called.
