Olympiacos really impressed me in this. A great never say die attitude. The return in Greece will be interesting!

I tell you what, if we play like we did in Madrid we are going to lose, you just cant go out there make that many mistakes and expect to win...just doesnt happen.

We are winning 3-1 to Depor. Game almost finished. Ruud, Raul and Robinho scored. I couldnt watch the match thanks to the same problems as ever. But there is good news...

The defense was swiss cheese in first half and the first 10 of the second.

After Raul came on, it was a different story. We suddenly looked like the team that beat Villareal, some time ago...RObihno and guti came alive and it was lights out after that....good stuff in teh seocnd half and even if it hurts me to say Salgado improved in the second half, he still sucks thought

why couldnt you watch hammy, the game was on goal tv.....but anyway, yes I almost got happy when I saw salgado laid out, but he came back....oh well

We had a rather poor first half with Higuain being our worst player ( hence why he was taken out for Wesley who needs to stop playing on the left wing imo ) but anyway the second half we were a lot better when Raul came on. It seemed like Saviola and Ruud could not connect at all so it looked a lot better with Raul and Guti started to play a lot better too. Robinho was the only good thing throughout the whole match and he capped it off with a goal. So a good result and we are still first but there is room for improvement, we have too many injures right now too which sucks.

Salgado needs to tell Schuster to stop playing him, all his great memories I have of him are being overtaken by these horrible performances he is giving us. It's a shame really because he has been a loyal player for us and was one of our best players a couple years ago.

I really, unlike Socrates, dont have a good word about Salgado. And thats not because of the past 2 years. I never liked him. He is slow, cant get a cross in and always gets a dance lesson by every left winger. He is the reason we lost ALOT of games! IMO, he should stop the game while he is still at Real Madrid. Just give him a job in the club. BUT DONT PLAY THIS MAN ANYMORE!

Robinho's goal was awesome. A nice one-two with Guti. (It's on the homepage of www.footytube.com) Salgado injured:Carlos*o:. We played well enough to win but we have defensive issues. Marcelo saved us a few times at the back.

I think you and a few others are being too harsh on him. He doesn't have it anymore but he tries hard. At least he honors the shirt in that way. I bet it would be hard for you to tell chuster: "Hey Berndt, I am no good anymore, put in someone else for me for the rest of the season" Trust me, I like everyone do not want him to play but at least give him some credit for effort. The person we need to aim our disgust at is Burnt. I really don't see why Burnt does not fancy Torres! He was great last season and is hungry. Give him a go. On the other side, Marcelo doesn't convince me yet. I know he's young but...Anyhoot, overall we look lost and have been saved by individual moments of relative brilliance and our patron saint, Casillas.

Like I said before, it sadden's because Michel is one of my favorite players for his attitude with Madrid ( and he was one of our better players when I started to watch them ) so for that I don't disrespect him but it's hard to watch him play like this. Age has really gotten to thim which was expected as his used his physical a lot for his game. Really Marcelo? He has been a pleasant suprise for me and I am wondering why we did not use him earlier. Sure he makes some rather questionable runs at times but is almost always back there and has stopped some pretty good opposition. Seeing as how young and inexperienced he is I want to start more often, only Henzie I would play ahead of him...for now atleast. I also think that although we had a poor first half we were good in the second half once Raul got on with RVN, than everything seemed to click.

After Arteta, Breno, Garay and Villa there are 2 others to be added to the list. And not little ones too. Miguel Velose and Joao Moutinho! Veloso is great, but on the other side we have Gago who is IMO the greatest talent on the DM spot. But Moutinho is a different story. He is phenomenal AND a natural succesor to Guti who is aging a bit. He is a true leader and a great playmaker! We dont need a leader, but a playmaker is always welcome. We have Guti and Sneijder, but if Moutinho can come then he is welcome! Ofcourse these are rumours, but they got me excited

Diarra-Gago are doing very well to control the midfield and Gago is passing it very well indeed. Guti is having a great game with his passes, just been great so far as has everyone else. Great game so far.

oh goodness, what a game fellas, if you are not watching, this is a first half you must download, if you ever heard of Total football as played by the netherlands in the 70's you must watch this first half...I know games and things must be like this consistently, but goodness, the score could easily be 6-0...at least 5-0 for sure, IN THE FIRST HALF!....This is the BEST game i have seen us play in well, probably ever, since probably the early part of this century at least, I hope it continues ....amazing
