Robinho wasn't called to the match (as far as I know) as he was late of the training on friday because of the international duties. Ronnie won't play for us for the same reason. You won't have an easy match, if all this is true, your midfield is lacking creativity, but Wes should be able to take care of that.

well we played out two best games in la liga before Robben started playing for us so there shouldnt be a huge drop off, of course this will mean that Wes and Guti will have a larger workload...but I think it is doable...Pepe is still out, ironically enough our two most expensive signings have played almost zero this year, hopefully they can both make a comeback and play a full second half of the season...

And yes, I expect this Espanyol game to be very tough, they are not pushovers, so I would guard against complacency, same for Barca

All signs point to NO! .. This thing is starting to really piss me off and loose faith that we will see madrid anytime soon. Truly disappointing that even with a 100 million dollar tv contract, they are unable to show the game outside of spain.

Well, Robben having an injury isn't a suprise but I didn't think it would be this early.......I feel gutted for ya guys, since I regularly followed his progress during his Chelsea days, as he was one of my fav players.....but you guys have enough quality in his absence(Higuain, Robinho, Drenthe).....and i reckon you'll do good even without him.....

No channel was showing the first half, they all showed Valencia's match, but Algtv is showing the second half. I feel so sad that we're down by 2 goals, but on the upside: Bojan scored!

why didnt robinho start?

1-0 Espanyol. The first minutes they were better, then we had a good period of domination. The last 5-7 minutes of the first half, Espanyol were better. Its an even match. Our defense looks decent. Our attack looks a bit isolated. Guti and Sneijder did have a good first 20 minutes, then everything went wrong. No good passes, no ball control. Higuain looks out of position on the right flank. (Such a shame that Robinho isnt on the bench atm) The only man that is having a good game in midfield is Diarra, who is imo the best player today for Real, closely followed by Ramos. I have hope for the second half. If I was Schuster I would replace Guti with Drenthe and play Sneijder in the centre. I would also bring either Saviola or Soldado in the last 20 minutes.

Robinho isnt in the squad list, because he returned too late from Brazil due to problems in the airport. (Thats what I read)

Wow! we started playing well after the goal and all of a sudden we have lost the momentum.. I don't like what I'm seeing so far...
