If you're using a ps2 controller,find in devdata the settings under the name "[Dual PSX-USB Adaptor...".Copy them and use em for your controller.Try that for now and reply about how it went.

There is always a change like last time WC06 had "W" for sprint, not it Q for switch, anoying thing is it Q+D placed shot, Z+D chip, how the hell we us Z+D :-s it difficult for me atleast!!

I cannot stand this new change.
I certainly hope someone figures this out...or EA make a patch with the old 07 Control setup (highly unlikely though).

Just bought a gamepad and tryed FIFA with it.... i have 2 errors: when i switch controller from "classic" to "new" and turn on the forcefeedback, after saving these settings they are gone. I go back to settings and everything is just like default: classic control and no ff...


How do i fix this VERY irritating thing??

I have the exact same problem and have made a new account on these forums to try and solve it, its driving me that mental !:(

Its weard as when you set the controll settings to new with the keybrd it logs and works fine but then trying to set the game pad from classic to new just dosnt save!

I usually play fifa on the ps2 but after the last couple of versions decided to go on to my PC as atleast then theres hope of patching problems etc

Hope someone can help!

PS Lo to all ye forum fellas, hopefully a first post of many :rockman:

I also found out that I cant make any tricks at all. Right analog seems to be dead in FIFA. I use Thrustmaster T-Mini Rumble... how to make tricks???

Hi all... how do you guys switch to keeper when using keyboard? Q doesn't work. I cannot move my keeper when the CPU is having the freekick.

And just like The True said, there isn't "Call 2nd Defender" button in "Classic" configuration(only available in "New"), then how am I supposed to call my 2nd defender?
