Got to feel bad for Soldado, this would be a good match to start him in and give Ruud a rest. I guess Schuster really has no confidence in him and it seems more and more likely that Mijatovic just kept him to say that we do use/keep our own products but most likely he will leave in January. Also I thought Schuster said Robben is not ready to start for another 2-3 games so lets see if he does or not.

with three games in seven days, I think is the best thing to do. We are going to have to get the best possible rotation in order to maintain our lead. Getafe will surely not be an easy win and the Lazio game is ours for the taking.

I'll keep it simple, If you watch the valladolid game that thas pretty much how we played once again.
Robben and babtista once in, saved our Asses with a good run by robben that lead to Raul being fouled in the box. Then Babtista off a rebound with a "peach" of a bycicle kick goal. Other than that we were fortunate to have walked away with the points.

The first half was a bit boring ,Betis create more dangerous play in the first half. Robinho should have started inteed of Higuain. He really need to learn how to finish. Robinho and Robben came up in the second half as sub and the team had more life. The penalty was a bit weird but there was contact on Raul and score the penalty.Baptista enter the game too and really made in impact with that awsome bicycle kick goal!!! I think he deserve to have more minutes for what he show on the pitch.
guys, i dont think we were that bad the first 25 mins was good, we had alot of possesion and was passing it around nicely but without ruud or another target man like baptista we didnt look like scoring. raul and saviola are very similar players they both play off a target man. us not scorin aloud them to get back into the game, and they really should have scored one or maybe even two due to mostly defensive errors AND THE POST!. so the first half was split we owned the first 25 they owned the last 20.
the second half was the same until the subs were brought on. robinho and robben added width and a more attacking style of play.
all in all i think we got lucky we didnt concede and if we had scored at the start of the first half when we were dominant then it might be a different story.
i think schuster learned something aswel when ruud is away baptista should play!

Lately I've been posting in an spanish forum, cause I'm a bit lazy when it comes to write in english, but I'll try to oblige myself to do it cause is both good for practising and for keep in touch with you people Talking about Madrid, it's sad to see how Schuster is rejecting Soldado... If he isn't called up when Ruud is out, when else? He's the other center forward in the squad, and to be honest I rate him much higher than Saviola, who hasn't still demostrated nothing and is not even a center forward.
Anyway, let's hope for another victory so we can hold on in the first place. I also want to see Arjen more minutes on play.
