Yep indeed that kit is a little on the corny side but truth be told i don't think its all due to the XL logo. The UMBRO template doesn't seem to be fitting well also.
I have a felling we will do better than a sure loss against Brum though. A tie would not be that much surprising.

The Good:
-Craig Bellamy scores 2 goals, opening his account with West Ham (both goals are excellent, especially the first!)
-We dominated the 1st half, controlling the game for large periods
-Did not get beaten by a lower league side (which makes a nice change, still have bad memories from when we lost to Chesterfield last season)

The Bad:
-Kieron Dyer has suffered a suspected broken leg which will rule him out until the New Year at the very least. Desperately disappointing, i hope he makes a swift recovery.
