kinda worrying how many times they mentioned Evra's name during those inter goals. Heinze hasn't officially gone yet, right? I hope he stays.

heres one for the positivity brigade on here - in just over a year we have sold 3 strikers and not brought in one - not to mention ole is well over the hill and saha lives in the treatment room......
Why should the so called 'biggest club in the world' have to play players out of position? - there is simply no logical argument to not buying another striker on top of tevez - it dosnt have to an expensive big name - someone like benni mc would do a great job here...

MANCHESTER UNITED 2-3 INTERNAZIONALE
Great game, thoroughly enjoyed watching the game. It is alot different and better than watching it on TV. I was amazed at how easy it looked, I think anyone could play for United on a perfect pitch like that.

I had a great view from the North Western Stand, row K in the bottom tier, I sat right next to the corner flag, and watching the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney and Giggs on the ball was just amazing. I'm thinking of going back to watch United again next month.

Even though we lost 3-2, it had no significant importance, it was only a pre-season friendly, but just being there in the stand surrounded by United fans from far and wide, was the most important. And I bought some souvenirs at the Man Utd souvenir shop, next to Lou Macari's fish and chip shop and they look nice on my wall. :D :D

No doubt I'll have my photos of the match on my site soon. Watch this space.

Because we have Rooney, Saha and Ole and if you add Tevez than you have 3 forwards that are all good enough to carry the goal load on their shoulders and one back-up that is as good as anybody out there. So why get another to tinker with it. If we wanted someone like McCarthy, then why sell Smith in the first place?

However, i'm a bit skeptical myself about selling both Rossi and Smith at the same time, seems like we are a bit overconfident of our chances of getting Tevez before the end of the month.

Fergie will regret the sales of Rossi & Smith if we dont manage to get Tevez for whatever reason. Its a stupid move in my opinion selling one of our hottest prospects and a player who hasnt managed to show his true worth to the team cos of injury.

Here's some I remember;

Chris Eagles - NEC Neymegen (Hol) and Sheffield Wednesday and Watford)
Lee Martin - Glasgow Rangers & Stoke
Phil Bardsley - Glasgow Rangers & Aston Villa
Liam Miller - Sunderland (Made permanent)
Jonny Evans - Sunderland
Danny Simpson - Sunderland
Guiseppe Rossi - Newcastle and Parma (Ita) - Sold to Villareal
Paul McShane - West Brom (made permanent)
Ben Foster - Watford
Gerard Pique - Real Zaragoza (Esp)
Tim Howard - Everton (Made permanent)
David Jones - Derby (Made permanent)

I forget who went to Royal Antwerp though.

I'm guessing the sale of Smith is conditional on Tevez arriving. That should leave us with enough.
