Sh!t call... Canada unfairly got a goal disallowed in minute 4 of extra time.

We got f*ckin' robbed and you clearly saw it. No way in hell that's an offside coming off a deflection from a US defender, a completely fair goal taken away by the same assh0le ref who screwed us out of WC qualifying.

That's ok though, we were more than competetive and sooner or later we'll host a Gold Cup and maybe the story will be different.

are you kidding me, De Guzman was taken out by a flying two-footed tackle long before that should have easily been worth a red card which never came, and you're complaining about the officiating? You should be kissing their asses right about now..

While I agree Canada got robbed on that last call, the US was the better team today and deserved to win. However, Canada seems to get screwed by CONCACAF refs with an alarming regularity.

canada did play a great game. unfortunate what happen in the end.. hopefully you guys can build on this performance and continue to get better..

Unbelievable. US was the better team earlier, but we really got all over them late. That is a disgraceful call. That was brutal... and Archundia is usually a good ref.

Thanks.. well, we were always underdogs here and if we got eliminated simply because the US is a stronger side (which clearly it is) then fine, but this one's a bit hard to swallow givien the circumstances.

We're definitely a contender for WC qualifying next time around, not saying we'll finish ahead of America or Mexico, but Costa Rica, T&T, etc better watch out.

I cannot believe the way Canada gets mistreated in concacaf games, its an embarrassment to the federation and the sport itself.

I think Canada matched US overall pretty well, and considering US had basically their starting 11 and were at home thats a pretty good achievement.

Landon Donovan is a sack of sh*t, nothing more, nothing less. He could never cut it in europe, and his dive was not the stuff we should be seeing in a Canuck/Yankee game.

I dont know why Iain Hume isnt a starter for Canada, the guys definitely got the quality. Bench Nash, play De Rosario out wide and play hume with Gerba, that should be their lineup. Canada has a crap defence, but other than that, we're definitely at least tied with Costa Rica as the best of the rest in concacaf (although USA hardly impressed today)

thats been the case for like 10 years now. Nobody can debate that poor reffing was the main reason for Canada's elimination in that infamous Honduras game (i have NEVER seen such a blatantly one sided performance by a ref ever,,,, and ive been watching Serie A my whole life).

Canada doesnt have the 'power' of the US in games like that, and if theres a latin american ref doing a game where we're playing a latin american team, we have basically no chance

Missed the game, but it sounds like injustice.

Sounds like I should have watched the match. I forgot it started at 7, saw it was 2-0 and decided to play Fight Night Round 3 instead.

The phantom offside in stoppage time was the millionth reason why CONCACRAP officials are grossly incompetent. However, you Canuckleheads really should keep your heads up; aside from the Guadeloupe disaster, your guys played some excellent football in this tournament, and maybe this Gold Cup has possibly ushered in a new and exciting era in Canadian soccer.

Anyway, we're through to the final, and I'm sure it will be our turn to get the ridiculously one-sided officiating screwjob. If that is going to be the case, I'm definately not looking forward to Sunday's match. However, I'm an American, and win or lose, I'll support the Kings of CONCACAF since it is my patriotic duty.

this mexico - guadeloupe game is very good. wouldn't be surprised if guadeloupe wins this game by the fact that mexico have been very shaky. Some hard tackles by the loupe team, they should take it easy and stick to controlling the ball..
