Same here, I often visit the Pocket Plane Group (Unfinished Business rocks), and I'm a member of SES at Spellhold Studios.

I'm really a fan of cRPG's in general really, the Fallouts, Planescape: Torment, Arcanum, the Ultimas and even somewhat obscure games like Albion and Darklands. Hybrids too, pretty much anything with RPG elements will get my attention. The Quest for Glory games were my favorite back in the day, the System Shocks (another two games I'm surprised no one picked), etc.

Not quite as much of a fan of console styled RPG's, though there are a couple I've liked, such as the Shining Force games (which are more strategy than RPG, and that no one picked either!), and Anachronox (which also went unpicked...).

Yeah, I'm a fan of the Pocket Plane myself (H)

I am currently playing The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (I got it for $10 :D)
Not bad, but a lot of grunt work to get the character up to a good level. I do like the level of interactivity with the environment.

On pc? If you do have it on pc make sure you get your hands on the 2 eps (if the already present amount of... things to do doesnt make you go into desperation mode :p) oh and make sure that you at least get the natural enviroments mod

Old computer?
Meh, anyway, just get oblivion, if your hardware can cope. Why play with the old engine when you can use the new one. :(

Actually, my PC is kicka$$... top of the line, 4gb RAM, dual vid cards, physics accelerator etc...

I just got Morrowind for super-cheap so I decided to try it before dropping any cash on Oblivion... plus this way, I'll enjoy Oblivion even more when I get it.

Oh wow, no Neverwinter Nights either..

Which one? I doubt a lot of people at SG played the original one by SSI, Bioware's version had an awful SP campaign, and I've heard mixed opinions in regards to Obsidian's NWN2.

beg to differ..

Morrorwind was good, but Oblivion improves over it in every aspect.
Its also more cinematic and has a more straight forward main storyline to get you hooked up right away
