Does Christiano Ronaldo's signing, and other players which have extended contracts during this seson, mean that they cannot be transferred in the next transfer period? Is there some form of norm or rule in the FIFA which states this thing? If somebody knows kindly reply. Thanks.

But theres probably a clause saying he will never play in Serie A or for Real Madrid. Barcelona have more chance of signing him as they arent the joke Real Madrid are.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you, Help. I have become more and more disgusted with the Italians since the 2006 World Cup. Milan's cheatfest last week against Bayern was pretty difficult to watch as well. However, Juve has been my team for such a long time.

Biggest Cheaters:

1) Italians
2) C. Ronaldo
3) Portuguese
4) Mexicans

Ronaldo is currently the best player in the world. People just say diving because they are hatin on him. He came here with that mentality. Look at him now. Developed and made into a world class player thanks to Ferguson and the staff at United. If he was till in Portugal or in Spain he would be diving a lot more. Ask Messi. Ronaldo tries to stay on his feet now and is way stronger than before.

that's correct pefan
when he played in sporting and when he came to man utd he dived a lot
unfortunetely a lot of portuguese players tend to do that.... they might dribble past the defender but they prefer to fall... i wish we our players had a bit more of the english mentality when it comes to diving
the years have passed and now ronaldo stays on his feet most of the time and that clearly contributed to his performances improvement
he's now clearly the best player in the world

I hope we can get Quaresma because hes the only one that has Ronaldo's kind of skills in the world that wouldnt cost over 10 million pounds.lol.

And Messi's goal was great against Getafe.

but no one can deny Portugese players have better technique like when Sporting Lisbon played Newcastle and Middlebrough. Their touches were very good.

Too early to call Ronaldo world great - Pele

DOHA, April 19 (Reuters) - Cristiano Ronaldo needs to stay at his peak for another two years before he can be called one of the world's greatest players, according to Pele.

The great Brazilian, who won three World Cups, said the Portugal winger, who has been in inspired form for Manchester United this season, was 'one of the good players' but it was too soon to call him one of the best in the world.

In a wide-ranging interview, Pele said: 'To mention him as one of the best players in the world is very soon... We have Kaka, who plays very well, too...

'Four or five years ago, we had Ronaldinho in good shape. We have to wait a little bit. Let's see, in one or two more years, if they keep at the same level.'

United manager Alex Ferguson recently compared Ronaldo's skills to those of Pele and Diego Maradona, whose individual talent inspired Argentina to win the World Cup in 1986.

Ferguson said Ronaldo, who last week agreed a new five-year contract with the Premier League leaders, should try to emulate the two South Americans.

Those games against Spoting were tedious. I was at the quarter final first leg at SJP and that goalie, Ricardo, must have spent over 20 minutes in total throughout the game lying on the grass. Every time he got touched he was milking it for every drop.

ShearerM4 sporting was clearly better in those games. you can't justify your loss by his time wasting

quaresma is a fantastic player but he's more a incomplete player than ronaldo
ronaldo is much stronger, faster and is better at heading the ball
but quaresma's crosses are lethal. he makes excellente crosses and strikes using his signature move: "trivela" (using the outside part of his right foot)
here's an example of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFopSa2tom4
and there's also nani who's also a great player but he's still very inconsistent. if he was coached by ferguson and queiroz he could improve a lot and maybe even reach ronaldo's level

Right... was that what I did?

You can be better yet be annoying cry babies at the same time.

(edit: actually, I blame NUFC's incredible capabilities of self destruction rather than Sporting's overwhealming superior quality. Anyway we're straying here).
