Even though he's an ex-Chelsea player i personally think he'd be a great signing, he's always determined to give 110% every game and would give us extra options in both midfield and up front (Y)

For 8 million pounds, he's an excellent option, considering that our priority should still be a primary midfielder first. I'm surprised that they'd be willing to let him go for this price, to be honest. He was one of the Chelsea players that I liked.

I don't think that he would play over the pairing of Saha and Rooney, so if he comes, that means that one of him or Smith won't be making the bench, unless we decide to utilize Guddy (or Smudge!!!) as a midfielder.


Do you think he'd come on these conditions, and also, what would Smith do?

One thing for sure is that Gudjohnsen is a smart player and is a good finisher,proven in the Premiership.He was under Sir Alex's radars before he moved to Barca.For 8 million pounds,hes a bargain.
