I think Cech and Buffon but b/c Buffon is in Serie B right now i have to give it to Cech, honorable mentions, Khan, Givens, Lehman, Casillas, Van Der Sar, Coupet

Surprised no one mentioned Helton

He took Dida's place in the Brazil NT, and I'd rank him top 5 in the world. The guy's kickass. Agile as hell, awesome reflexes great on crosses, with his feet, etc.

And if u mention last week's blunder against Chelsea, well... the greatest blunders come from the greatest keepers :amika:

Dida stepped out of the NT, so i heard...which doesn't take the credit away from Helton of being first choice of a list that has Ceni, Julio Cesar, Gomes and others

People naming Kahn and Boruc are a tad retarded imo. Kahn is over his prime for 5 years now, Boruc often gives a very instable performance when it really comes to it, see Celtic-Rangers from today...

A "past his prime" Kahn is still better than 99% of the other goalies out there. He's having his best season since 2002, he's saved his team a great amount of points.

Just saw Buffon was named best goalie of the world again by the IFFHS. I take any honour for a Juventino right now, even from them 3rd time he won it in the last 4 years. Cech won it for 2005, but Buffon missed half of that year due to injury, so

casillas all the way then cech and buffon i think.

casilla and cech are still 24 i think buffon is 29 which is when goalkeepers really start to reach there peak.

Not judging my opinion of Helton on the Champions League match, I still don't think he is a top 10 keeper. Not to say that he isn't good though.

I don't get to see much outside the premiership, but I think Aouate has really been consistent for Depor. barely gets scored lately, and Foster, IMO, will be one of the best stoppers in the future.
