Question about tackling.

Well, how do you use your tackle? And how do you use it with your players? Because the bigger they have at tackling, I reccur to use a hard tackle, because they do it better and more aggresively. But a friend of mine does the opposite, and puts a sweet tackle.

So wtf, what is the correct one...

I always set players with 0-10 for tackling on easy tackling, 10-15 on normal tackling and 15+ on hard tackling.

Yeah, me too, but my friend doesn't exactly the opposite, so I would like to know more opinions..

i have all defensive players on normal, and wingers and strikers on easy.

^ same. avoids many unnecessary red cards.

Why does that all sound dirty?

Got to consider the players aggresion aswell.

Easy they'll only tackle if they're sure to get the ball, Hard they'll go in left right centre to get the ball. Work it out, players with better tackling can afford to go in at all costs as they're better at it.

I've always had high tackling on hard, and everyone else on normal, and was the only team for 2 seasons straight with no red cards, but if aggression is high and decisions low, you're gonna get many cards.

^ ****, no red cards for 2 seasons? i find its useless that wingers being set on normal, because they occasionaly hack in with 2 feet therefore being sent off.

Hard, just get a facking foot in. If you're a Conference team with players with tackling all below 10 do you have it on easy? No, because you'll get walked all over.

agressive for all, we are not pussies ai (unsurprisingly, last season, my Köln side was 3rd on the yellowcard list, only 2 relegated teams got more cards, I only recieved 2 red cards though)

It is a red

i play with tottenham and when i play against teams like chelsea or man utd, i play with hard tackling, it usually works quite well for me..
otherwise i play with normal tackling.
