PES 6 in USA for PC questions/concerns

Hi all,

It seems that Konami is not releasing the PC version of Winning Eleven: PES 2007 along with the PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, and DS versions in the US. I called Konami support and the lady simply told me that Konami has not told them any information about a PC version. Therefore, I think I would like to buy the UK version of PES6, but I have a couple concerns before I spend my money.

Will the UK version work fine in the USA? I am pretty sure it'll be no problem considering PC games are region-free, but I am worried about the online play. Are there any people living in the US (or perhaps the rest of North or South America) who have the UK/Euro version of PES6 and can confirm that online play works fine?

Also, I had heard that the Edit function was modified...is it still possible to completely update the game (to update to proper team/league names, stadiums, etc) with option files and such?

Finally, can anyone recommend a good retailer to purchase the game from online? Amazon.co.uk and many other retailers do not ship software to the US

Hey, first of all i do believe it will be released in USA in late February, just like every year so i don't think it will be smart to trust somebody who most likely only doing his/her job for money.

Second : I have few buds who purchased pes 6 from UK to USA and it works fine, online too since they're playing in online league.

And for the last one : Well most likely everybody will tell you ebay. Right it's cheap and has lot's of sellers but in the same time not a store you can always trust. So i guess just type pes 6 in search bar and check out the links, like 70% of them will be actual internet shops.

I'm in the US and I ordered mine from www.gogamer.com. It is a California company that stocks UK imports. As you already know pc games are region free all you need is a dvd drive to play.
