Konami sent out a press release announcing that its soccer game - Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 -- has shipped to retail stores nationwide. The long-standing series, a favorite of soccer fans around the world, makes its next-generation debut on the Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS in addition to new and improved versions on the PS2, PSP and PC.

Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 features enhanced animation and collision detection systems that combine to deliver the most fluid gameplay experience ever for the series. Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 also features enhanced online play, improved graphics, new fully licensed international and league teams and new game modes. The game will feature several licenses new to the series, including the French League as well as Portugal's Sporting Lisbon and Benfica. It will also include fully licensed uniforms for the Czech, French, Australian, English, Italian, Argentinean, Spanish and Swedish national teams, and hundreds of the worlds biggest soccer stars. Additionally, new to the PSP system and Xbox 360 versions, and returning on the PlayStation 2 system and PC, is a robust Master League mode, which gives players even more control over their favorite team by allowing them to manage and train the players on their own soccer franchise.

Did anyone get this game? I also want to know whether it's just a simple PES6 update or something much better.

Guys, guys, false alarm. Relax! This is just the US version of PES6. Quote from GameSpot:

LOS ANGELES--Earlier today, during a visit to Konami's E3 booth, we were able to spend some quality time with a PlayStation 2 demo of Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007, which will be titled Pro Evolution Soccer 6 in Europe

So I guess we kinda got excited over nothing. Ah well, guess we'll just have to wait for PES7. That should be true next-gen, hopefully, 'cause it should be designed for the PS3.

This game is nothing more than a port of PES6,

which is a ****in shame since WE10J-League has been out for ages now and it's 10 times the game that PES6 is and would be even more amazing on x360... :boohoo:

WE10JL is much better than PES6? u sure about that?

I'm asking because I heard it's an exact replica of pes6, unlike the case with WE9KLE and WE9...
