Probably but not yet, It's been confirmed by various media including voetbal insite on tv: Leonardo will sign a contract for 2.5 years what rests is the medical but the guy is 23 so I'm sure that won't be a problem.
He will join us after the winterbreak in january.

More concerning is the fact that Barcelona seems to be really interested in Wesley Sneijder, they are going to make a bid at the end of the season.
Barca invited Wesley to talk with them and they want to show him around, I knew he was going but reading it and hearing it like that...ah well more talent waiting to step up.

ManUtd wants Huntelaar and I read that Fergie is preparing a bid for 14.5m Euro in the winter.
Don't make me laugh that's peanuts for a classplayer like KJH and Ajax will not let him go in the winter either :rolleyes: :boohoo:
He already said before that he will stay this season for sure and after that millions and millions are coming our way again if he leaves and the same goes for Wesley cause he recently signed a new contract till 2009 so I say 20m for him as well. Why should we make it easy for the big clubs in Europe?

Speculation of Edje returning to Mokum has been going on for some seasons now already. But either Edje himself or Ajax denied the move. Too bad cause I think he would be a fine addition with his experience, leadership and temperament.

Moreover he might go back to his house here in Amsterdam which is actually quite near mine. :p
I sometimes saw him in my street, but he hasn't been in Mokum for years. :(

I didn't see the game, so i want to ask why sneijder was replaced in 46 minute? i hope not because of injury?

I don't think it is that serious, otherwise I would've read it somewhere.

Overall I'm very pleased with the way we played against Zulte Waregem. Great to see Klaas has find his magical scoring touch again, to bad that beautiful lob didn't go in. Oh and talking about that what a scorcher by Johnny!

we played 4-4-2 formation and i think we should play in the same formation in eredivisie this weekend. we play better in 4-4-2 than 4-3-3

YES Werder Bremen it is the hardest oppenent but if we beat them we can set a great step into the Uefa Cup title. I will go tot the ArenA in de homematch. Let's beat them :)
