Sometimes I wonder if the universe is against us. the amount of great football we have put doesnt justify our results. Anelka comes back to haunt us. WHY??? I use to feel really bad when we lost but now I think its a law of the universe that our luck has ran out. After our unbeaten season we have gotten weaker and weaker. But I feel we have a stronger team than last season yet we struggle offensivly.


ps- freddie ljunberg is past it. he tries very hard but doesnt get anything done anymore. I really think his days are numbered at arsenal.

All the midfielder are great goal makers including HENRY
But we still need the Nistelrooy,bergkamp type

The only thing similar about Bergkamp and Nistelrooy is that they are both dutch.

this is a two way street that you guys are walking, if Henry falls back then you'll lose your clinical finisher, cuz you have a lot of creators and not a lot of finishers, if he stays upfront like he used to do a few seasons ago he runs the risk of being man marked so both ways you lose, if it was up to me i'd definetly get another known dangerous proven striker (not another unproven youngster).

back in the day defenses had to worry about Henry AND the Iceman, and you had Ljumberg, Pires and Vieira to content with in midfield, ashley cole being lefty could cover for Pires cuting inside cuz he's a righty.

now you have some talented young players, but hey you made it to the CL finals like that, so theres some hope yet.

Yep in terms of the premiership that lineup was faultless, despite the european short comings.

This team lacks to qualities in particular. Firstly to take control of games in difficult circumstances, and secondly they lack cutting edge and directness in the vital momentsof the game.

Scratch that 3, we miss Vieira, i would say a Vieira but there is only one
