Rangers have now dropped TWENTY points in 13 games and are still as high as 3rd in the league.

Shows how bad the league is doesn't it?

The standard of the SPL has been absolutely shocking this year. I don't think Celtic have even gotten out of first gear yet and they're going to stroll it again.

In the league, all I want is a bit more consistency, then see where that takes us.

Hail Hail, the Celts are here,
What the hell do we care,
What the hell do we care,
Hail Hail, the Celts are here,
What the hell do we care now...

For its a grand old team to play for,
For its a grand old team to see,
And if you know the history,
Its enough to make your heart go,
Nine-in-a-row

We don't care what the animals say,
What the hell do we care,
For we only know,
That there's gonna be a show,
And the Glasgow Celtic will be there.

Sure it's the best darn team in Scotland
and the players they are Grand,
"We support the Celtic"
'cos they are the finest in the land.
We'll be there to give the bhoys a cheer
When the League Flag flies,
And the cheers go up 'cos we know the Scottish Cup
is coming home to rest at Paradise.

Well, out go Celtic to Falkirk in the CIS Cup, 5-4 on penalties.

It's interesting to hear that a certain linesman, going by the name of Thomas Murphy, was at the centre of yet another scandal tonight. It's funny, he seems to be involved in a lot of pro-Celtic calls whenever he seems to get to officiate a Celtic match.

Hmm.

Well, Celtic strolled to a fairly easy 3-1 victory at St. Mirren today. Thomas Gravesen scored a hat-trick to top off a very good game for himself. However, it is reported there were a couple of serious, serious incidents that happened from today if what I heard was true that:

1) Celtic FC have issued a complaint over the comments of the St Mirren Stadium Announcer after todays game. The controversy was caused after the St Mirren DJ issued a "thank you" to the St Mirren fans after todays game, thanking the support for "not being provoked by the sectarian singing of Celtic fans. All Celtic fans."

2) There was no minute's silcence for Remembrance Sunday at St. Mirren decided that it was "not appropriate".

If that is true (I do have my doubts that is true, surely nobody can stoop THAT low?), particularly the latter, then that is absolutely despicable! It only highlights the Old Firm pandering that St. Mirren in particular are famed for, because Celtic would have booed the Remembrance of British troops dying for freedom in the Club's COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, whislt taking part in songs glorifying the death of British troops on Irish soil. Let's not make our big brothers look bad, eh? Let's not forget, it's only Rangers and Hearts who have fan problems.

Unreal. :f***: :f***:

Oh goody, another Hearts fans who's still paranoid and deluded about 1986. Regardless of what you think about us and Celtic, we despise them as much as we despise Rangers. You also shoot yourself in the foot. If we pander to the Old Firm, why did we make an announcement about the songs? But don't let that get in the way of your paranoa.

Anyway:

Point 1: The announcement was actually: "Please keep the good name of St Mirren intact by not responding to the sectarian songs than have been sung at today's match." Seems perfectly reasonable, and our chairman agrees as he felt the statement was fair comment, although he didn't authorise it being said.

Point 2: I agree it wasn't good, our chairman tried (and failed) to squirm out of it. Could have saved a bit of face with an apology after the game. The fact it was Celtic we were playing was probably incidental.

Now, why not run along and concentrate on another day when Romanov seems to have pressed the Tynecastle self destruct button?

St Midden are possibly the most despicable club in Britain. I hope they are non-existent in the near future.

no they aren't. that's celtic's title with rangers 2nd and partick thistle and queen's park aren't far behind.
