Is Online mode fixed now?

Can someone tell me how is the online mode now? Everything working?Lag?How often does connection breaks up? Is it worth it now 2 buy it?thx :jap:

It's hardly fine.

I have a 16Mb DSL connection and still the game is just unplayable atm unless I'm playing with people with good ping and those are very rare to find.

On top of that it's very hard to defend with lag in this game. In Pes5 when you were lagging you put on a defensive tactic and used auto-press a lot and you might get lucky... in this game no way. With a bit of lag players like Eto'o just run past your defenders like they weren't even there.

And you not only have to put up with those but also with the players that turn on the upload programs at half time when they are losing to lag you, which is great.


Great game to play offline, completely awful game online, unless you can play with RL friends. I'd glady return my copy to the store if I could.

I've no idea why you're getting lag like that. About 95% of the games I play don't have any lag at all, and I'm on 2mbps. It's almost flawless for me, seriously, I love it.

No problems for me either, it's as smooth as playing offline. Only one thing to remember don't play through a router.

konami netcode is a s_hit!!! dont work for me as in offline mode :kader:

when people host me i cant play! Lags, frameskipping and no response by commands!!

when i host often slowly and not coordinated...

NETCODE OF THIS GAME sucks!!!

Because there are 4 levels of your connection, highest is 3 bars, 2bars,1bar and no bars. People kept saying i had no connection bars even though i'm on a 10mb broadband plus i could only join somone in a game i couldnt create my own cause we wouldnt connect. Someone said are you behind a router as this wouldnt give an accurate ping, which i was. So i tried a direct connection without the router. No problems at all with the connection plus i was getting a very low ping (3bars)
