The third film in the highly successful "Spider-Man" series sees several new villains and a new woman enter Peter Parker's life. With his secret now revealed to both Mary Jane and former best friend Harry Osborn, Peter must face the consequences of his actions and his new life together with Mary Jane as they finally begin forming a relationship. Yet their newfound open display of love has yielded some unfortunate results, not the least of which is Peter's upset boss determined to make his life hell for causing his son emotional distress. Not helping is a young investigative reporter named Eddie Brock who Jameson has hired to find out why Mary Jane dumped his son for Peter - what's Parker's secret?
At the same time an escaped prisoner hiding out on a remote beach is caught in a dreadful accident and finds himself turned into a shape-shifting sand creature. Peter's investigations into the past of this 'Sandman' brings him in contact with two very different things that will inevitably alter his life. The first a young woman named Gwen Stacy, daughter of the city's new police chief, who is developing a soft spot for Peter. The other, a black substance from an accident scene which 'merges' with Peter's costume and gives him new found abilities. Things come to a head however when Harry Osborn, determined to take revenge against Peter for his father's death and now equipped with what he needs to pull it off, teams with The Sandman in a new variation of his father's Green Goblin guise and causes mayhem. In the ensuing chaos lives are lost, including those of people very close to Peter, whilst the black substance covering his suit separates from him and merges with a distraught Brock to form something else entirely - a creature unlike anything he's ever faced. A 'Venom' that he may not be able to stop.

Its currently 2am and the shooting started at around 10pm, he is doing the same shot again and again and not yet finished!!! He has to ride the bike and park it in front of the entrance(3rd pic)...........

i just finished watching superman returns and in the previews was a spiderman 3 teaser trailer.

MY GOD, IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE. I'M FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW. they released a teaser a year before its release date. unbelieveable. and it was so good. i'll be searching the net hard for the teaser.

edit: the search lasted less than 2 mins.

Honestly, what the **** were they thinking with this choosing? What a way to ruin one of the baddest and coolest comic book characters, man.

Spidey 3 is gonna fvck us all real hard. everything so far's been perfect (Y)

Raimi finally (and rather anti-climatically) confirmed that the new villains in the film are indeed Sandman and Venom, and that James Franco's vengeful Harry Osborn will not be playing either the new Green Goblin or Hobgoblin in the movie.

The footage, which was was cut as a trailer, begins with Peter Parker looking at his reflection in a mirror and then slowly revealing the new black Spidey costume underneath his street clothes. "All will be lost," we are told before we find Topher Grace's Eddie Brock praying in a church. And what is he asking of God? Why, to kill Peter Parker, of course!

The rest of the footage included battle sequences between Sandman and the police, as well as between Harry and Spidey. There are shots of love interests Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy, as well as shots of both Peter Parker and Eddie Brock becoming overwhelmed at different points by the black symbiote suit. The trailer ends with the "money shot": the first look at the CG-animated Venom in all his vicious glory!
