OT Xbox360 Q?


My son got a 360 for his birthday (fri 3rd) , he called me from his mums and asked about getting Online with it. He got a 30 day Gold Trial to Xbox-Live, does he need a router to plug his 360 into his NTL BB ?



I knew he didn't have one , so I told him to try and just unplug the modem from the PC and just plug the 360 into the modem.. He called back saying something about IP Address not working or recognised. He has it connected to his TV in his room, to get it online does he have to go through his PC and Windows or should it have worked just pluging into the modem via his TV?

I mean what about people who don't have a PC but get a BB modem to play Xbox-Live ??? would they not just plug the 360 into the modem? Or does he have to get something else from NTL ???

Do you mean by reset , plug in the 360 and switch the modem off and then start it up again ?
