my keeper just plain sucks....headers from the top of the box that dribble towards the goal beat my keeper constantly...almost like the reaction times or reflexes are nearly nonexistent...

insane defenders...defenders in perfect position to defend a cross...seem to at the last second run a few steps in any direction leaving the striker wide open to score with a header...

headers from the top of the box....the CPU seems to be able to knock impossible headers in from the top of the 18....a ball coming at an impossible angle turns into a screaming header towards the top corner...

some of these things are just annoying to no end...and they always seem to happen when i've controlled a small lead for nearly an entire half...ill have a defender seemingly just run away from a striker...or have the other team score from an IMPOSSIBLE situation...usually with a header...

i'm playing in legendary mode. 15 games won, zero draws, zero losses, 6 goals conceded


play the game to death and learn something before coming here to complain

Now now, no need to get snitty. The truth is, this "bug" has been around a while. Apparently EA thinks that in the real game players can score slow, telegraphed headers from inordinate distances. Its dumb, I agree.

Its also true that if you are not careful, the AI will "decide" to move your players out of position when you least want them to be. Unfortunately, this is EAs way of making the game "harder".

Once you have mastered all of these idiocyncracies with the game, and then it becomes pointless to play as apparently it is for Nawoo, then its time to take up a new hobby.

I wouldn't say I suck...and I've been playing FIFA games to death since "FIFA International Soccer" on the Genesis...so back off...

but good at the game or not there are certain things that are plain stupid...the AI headers are insane...and I could live with them if the AI somehow was able to get insane amounts of power on their headers....but when they bounce in from outside the 18 and my keeper takes a month and two days to react and misses anyways...its insane...

and about the defending...I'm not saying I don't know HOW to stop my guys from moving, I'm just saying I shouldn't have to! my players shouldnt move on their own if im controlling them...

but I apologize for speaking up O'FIFA Master!

I wouldnt listen so much to Nawoo's commentary. That said, if you defend well you can prevent the silly headers. This is the only way. As a veteren of EA FIFA, I start at WC level and play in to the new mode. I am playing with a 1 star team. Its good because it forces you to learn to play the game, especially defend. My biggest problem is keeping clean sheets. Its tough. I can avoid losing, but keeping the AI from scoring at this level can be difficult. But, at least the AI isnt getting the chance to produce these ridiculous headers.
