Anyone Having Trouble With There Right Analog Stick

I went to settings to map my keys for my logitech remote gamepad, and all was well until I got to the Right Analog stick!

I had no problems with PES5 up down left and right mapped no problem, but with PES6, I only get 2 positions be it up and down or up and left or right or a combi of any 2 from the 4 positions.

Anyone else !

ps .. just went to my PES5 folder to remap my right analog stick to see if it was the stick, its not, I can map all 4 directions but In PES6 setting I can press down left and it will show as up ... in other words its messed up .. anyone else ..

im assuming you have the logitech cordless gamepad then? If yes my brother has this gamepad and it has the same problem, i had to map the thottle to the right analog y-axis in the logitech profiler to get pro evo 6 to recognise it.

Yeah, same problem here. Thrustmaster Dual Power 3 and cant get the right stick to register all the directions in the settings dialog. Why did they have to mess up the gamepads :kader:
I do all the skills in the right stick, and now I feel incomplete playing PES6 :s***:

I think konami will release a patch soon. There are not only the thrustmaster gamepads with this problem.

I had a similar problem when using an original XBOX pad VIA USB and PES6.
If you remember , people had issues with an XBOX Pad and PES5 last year
and they had to disable or remap certain axis for the right analogue stick.

I was still using my profile when playing PES6 and it caused me not to map
the right stick too when i went to settings, but after going into control
panel and game controllers, and resetting everything to default, it seemed
to work for me.

So now the XBOX pad works fine, with full Right Analogue stick control.

I'm using the Thrustmaster Firestorm DA 2 gamepad and everything is screwed up. It doesn't recognize the RA stick properly (only when I click down and move it does it work for passing...but it doesn't work for special techniques when you move the stick). All the buttons are wrong, and while I can change some of them, it doesn't work for everything. Can't adjust what PES6 considers to be Start and Select buttons, either.

Beyond the right analog stick problem, why couldn't Konami just implement proper key selection?

I think I had the same problems when I tried the PES5 demo :nape:

Besides, you can't configure controllers like that, that you can play with your friend on a one PC. There's no option that my m8 can play on keyboard and I play on a pad.

Saw this on the evo-web forums

I have a solution.

Map the keyboard keys in settings.exe and then download ControlMK (http://www.redcl0ud.com/controlmk/). Install and run ControlMK. Add your controller and then assign the keys you mapped in settings.exe to the buttons and analog sticks on your gamepad. Works 100%

I tried it, assigned keys to all my gamepad buttons and in pes6 setting.exe I redefined the keyboard keys to match the "virtual keyboard" keystrokes that the gamepad sends. Seems to work fine so far, shooting, passing, running, skill moves all fine and dandy :rockman:

Now if only konami would move their a$$es and released a patch to fix this damn bugs... instead we have to use these workarounds for something that wasn't even broken in PES5 :kader:

logitech wireless pad here as well but i got no such problems
it picked it up default and worked no problem
when i seen this thread i try to remap those and that worked as well so there is something else that gives you troubles guys
maybe worth mentioning that this install of windows never had pes5 on it

found on evo web (not tested by me)

1. run regedit
2. go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contr ol\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\ "
3. find a key tree which has your gamepad name in description field - copy the key tree name value
4. save following text in some text file, named as something.reg:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V ID_044F&PID_B320\Axes]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V ID_044F&PID_B320\Axes]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V ID_044F&PID_B320\Axes\0]
@="X Axis"
"Attributes"=hex:00,00,00,00,01,00,30,00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V ID_044F&PID_B320\Axes\1]
@="Y Axis"
"Attributes"=hex:00,00,00,00,01,00,31,00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V ID_044F&PID_B320\Axes\2]
@="Right X Axis"
"Attributes"=hex:00,00,00,00,01,00,35,00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V ID_044F&PID_B320\Axes\5]
@="Right Y Axis"
"Attributes"=hex:00,00,00,00,01,00,36,00

5. change "VID_044F&PID_B320" with the tree key name value you found in step 3
6. save the file
7. double click on it.
