Totally agree. This is by far the best FIFA ever. Those who are on about current-gen 07 playing better need to take that and their bong away! lol.

ive been playing the demo all day today, and there seems to be so much depth in it, like before i said it was a good, but cud of been better... now i think its the dogs scrotom.... i was looking at the controls earlier and noticed a "finesse shot", after i deiscovered that i curled in a pearla with ronaldinho.. just keeps gettin better

Tactically they have made some changes and they looked well in the direction of pes. A lot of stuff they took over like the attacking and defensive arrows, but i dont know if the players really show this attitude in the game, havent really tested it. The players also have more attributes, but i didnt really noticed major differences between the players. Also weak foots didnt seem to be implemented.
So tactically its not as deep as pes.

I havent seen any tricks in the game and can't seem to peform any either. Whats with EA, first they make fifa like a circus with all kind of trick and now they dont put any trick in the game? Maybe I missed it, but there arent even step overs or side steps.

My first impression when i had just donwloaded the demo was WOW
but now at the end of the day you have the old fifa feeling where you see the little mistakes, fault and scripts.
Though its the best fifa ive ever played, so ea is in the right direction. Better luck with Fifa08.

I've been a fan of pes/iss ever since they first came out but my god i think i've been swayed by this amazing shot at football, the game is pretty fluid, i haven't noticed any restrictions what so ever, i'm defo buying this game when it comes out.

As for the tricks, they have been disabled in this demo, i've seen a shed load of tricks in a couple of videos that where posted online, including dhino's flip flap and that one christie does.

One thing i'm shocked with is the anti man united feel to it, the chants of "Who the **** are man united & stand up if you hate united" Brilliant eh?

i found the camera options in the demo very poor, hopefully the zoom feature to most angles will be avalible in the full version, i prefer to see more of the pitch and where my players are, rather than relying on the radar to tell me where they are

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY! Football can be such a basic game to play, the fundamentals of the world famous sport! EA have got the fundamentals DOWN! And I was playing plenty of games and started to think 'oh is this it?'. But then all of a sudden, I find out that the controls are much deeper and the types of chances you can create and ways to break the defence are much richer than any experience I've had in a football game. It's so natural!! It doesn't feel forced or unrealistic.

My bro scores goals on current-gen and just sits there emotionless. but today he scored a scorcher with Rooney and shouted 'YEEAAAAAAAH GEEET IIIIN!!!'. He was rewarded and it was an emotional goal and a great goal to see go in!! :jap:

This is by far better than current-gen. But that is my opinion and to each their own! I know my bro doesn't like football games as much as me, but he's played a good few on the 360 demo now!! Counts for something that this game is fun not just for footy-heads.

This game is amazing... specially one you turn off the assisted player change and assisted passing...

You know i've just noticed this again i've said this countless times before.
People will always piss and moan about football games, regardless if somebody says it's "greatest game ever" and then somebody i'll say "they could have done better".

You'll never be happy

I love this demo and now i can't wait for the full game

try turning assistance on switch players and passing all the way off...

The framerate wasn't too solid, went up and down, sometimes it was really sluggish, especially during replays.

Sounds strange...i downloaded it yesterday and it took me about 1 and a half hour...but its worth your wait...great game!

If it just felt more responsive and had that "total control" feeling like MasterM said it would be a very good game.

But one thing i don't understand, is why EA took out A LOT of the gameplay features that are in the curren-gen version? You can't jostle for position (fighting for aerial balls in the demo is practically the same as WC. Pure Crap)
You can't do fake shots, dummy through legs, or various other things that you can in the curren-gen version. (maybe they are included in full version.. but who knows) EA have a tendency to take good things out of their games and adding new things.. insteading of keeping what works and adding too it.

The unresponsive issue will be fixed, I'm sure about that. Most demos are like that. I'm positive they'll tweak a few things before its release.

Im talking about when you have control of the ball.. not switching players. Besides when your running.. the player feels a little unresponsive and sluggish.. and so does the passing. Hopefully these things will be fine tuned for the final release.
