The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

As there wasn't a thread on this game, I had to create one.

Bought this about a week ago for the 360, and the depth in it is amazing.

I've just entered one of the gates of Oblivion in the city Kvatch, and I'm trying to close it. However, there's these little devils (the "Stunted Scamps") who's there and they're really hard to kill, especially since there are so many of them. Does anyone know a good (fast) way to kill them, so that I won't have to waste all my health taking them down?

You should check out gamefaqs.com. They have a ton of strategies for Oblivion. I bought the game when it was released and played the hell out of it. I just started playing it again a few days ago. The game quickly gets addictive. I would suggest reading some character faqs to get the most out of your created character. I just learned a bunch of new stuff today, matter of fact. Like you said, the depth is amazing.

I read about this a few months back. Scored extremely highly on gamespot. Top scoring in the last year or so i think...

Tell me about it, I've been playing almost for two days straight now :(

There's just so much to do, with all the quests, guilds, secret places, arenas and all the other random things happening.

Will check out the gamefaqs strategies guides, there's just so much I don't understand here.

Yeah Stotty, Oblivion (Xbox 360) got 9.6 from Gamespot, which is amongst the highest scores a game has ever gotten there. GTA San Andreas and Resident Evil 4 are two of the other games I know which has gotten a score like that. So if you have got much spare time, I recommend you start playing it :p

Yeah, me too. Vice City should definitely be the better rated game of the three, with GTA3 right behind it.

It's GTA, it will always get a high rating. If they ported SA to the 360, updated the graphics, it would still get 9.6 or something around there. They love GTA over there.

I consider SA by far the best GTA, most personalizable character and more freedome to do things (control what parts of the city you want etc...)

It's more personalisable but it doesn't have the same "feel" as the other games.

One reason why GTA3 is such a fantastic game is that the city environment/ambience is absolutely fantastic - feels very much like a criminal city.
