Updated Squads

Are there any releases of updated squads with all the latests transfers? I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could provide a link to such an update if it exists.

so if i'm in the middle of a season, and if I wanted to update my rosters, would I be able to continue in my career mode? Or would I have to start from scratch?

Not using any updated FIFA.DB, no. The player information is stored in the manager mode data file, but it links to player name strings (amongst others) in the FIFA.DB, so if you change that file then you have to start a new career. There is nothing to stop you keeping multiple sets of data and careers, and switching between them, but you'd need to take care that you never loaded the wrong career and database combination, so it might be more trouble than it is worth.

Ahhh.....so I could, say, continue my current career by using my original fifa.db file and when I want to use a new roster, rename the newer fifa.db file and start a new career!
I guess I was just hoping there'd be some brilliant way for the game to recognize the changed roster and make the necessary update.

It will be interesting to see if EA Sports add that feature to FIFA 07. If they do, then I hope they make it optional because my son is a big Fiorentina fan and I'm sure he'd hate being hog-tied for that first career season.

As you can read in the last CEP news and previews all this huge work on CEP 2.0 is aimed not only to provide a great update to Fifa 2006 but mainly as a base for Fifa 2007 version of CEP, hoping that EA has not changed too much in files types.

I have updated some values for a club in the fifa.db file and these changes come up in Play now mode, but not in a saved career, is there any way to make this changes stick? They include redesignation of stadia and adboards.
