Clueless on bending the ball (logitech game controller)

all my shots are straight-on. i have tried different things, but have seen no results. the computer does it to me often (seen some beauties).

help?

move the right analog stick when the ball has been shot, I can bend em in the top corner sometimes if the player that shoots has high shooting skill.

If I'm correct, you cannot bend the shot at will in FIFA 2006. The computer does that automatically bends the ball based on the player's skill.

Ball curl is done through player attributes, not a 'manual' option that the user can perform by the flick of a button on the controller.

I would say FIFA 07 will have the option to curl the ball. But that is just an educated guess.

I'd swear I'm influencing the ball curve somehow with my right analog stick on direct free kicks once it's on the way to goal... maybe it's my imagination then.

interesting. i'll try the right. but maybe i'm just playing with unskilled players! i am attracted to the lower level teams, for some reason.

You use right analog on free kicks, it does nothing when you're shooting the ball in any other situations.

You do control the curve with the analog stick. You have to change where you are aiming from the time you prees shoot to when you let go.
Go to practice mode with the camera on "End to End". Put the cpu to only the goalie on the field.

When you get close enough to shoot aim at the middle when you start your shot. While you hold the shoot button, aim to the left upright and let go of the shoot button. This works either side for inside or outside curve.
