1. first of all, congratulations to ghana. i can't say they didn't deserve to go through more than us.

2. as much service bruce arena has done for u.s. soccer, i think it's obvious that he isn't coming back. thank you for the past so many years, and good luck in the future.

3. i'm sad to see brian mcbride, claudio reyna, and kasey keller going out this way. especially reyna with the injury. but i thank them for their loyal service throughout the years. over the years, i've grown a tremendous amount of respect for mcbride, and his never die attitude.

4. i dunno if landon donovan was lost in that formation or if he's just hates playing in germany or what, but i'm very disappointed. he played well in the italy game with men down and lots of space to run, but where was he? i remember him saying he wants to play well in germany, but...i'm just disappointed in his play.

5. same with beasley. i believe this is a turning point in his career, and it's turning to the wrong side.

6. dempsey and gooch were impressive and i really hope dempsey gets a chance abroad.

For sure, so do I.

We don't need Zico coaching us. When we have the talent of Brazil, then we can play Samba, until then we need the German style. We didn't have discipline, preperation, or focus. Nor were we technically sound. That's what the Germans do best. Well, that and convince Poland's best players to play for them.

The U.S attack was too predictable. Pass to the flanks, cross and hope McBride heads it. I rarely see them attack through the middle.

Bruce Arena played the wrong formation. I thought we'd go for the goal tiebreaker despite it being impossible. Also, he's too loyal to the old players. Eddie Johnson should have started all three games alongside McBride with Donovan. Mastreoni shouldn't have even been on the team.

I thought only two players really made a positive impact. Dempsey and Conrad. Poor Onweyu was picked on by the refs, otherwise he was solid.

umm i think we need to play the right guys in the right posistion; Donovan needs to be uptop, lewis is not defender, etc.
