Thats odd. In my game he's got 42 in 35 and 57 in 44. Formed a frightening partnership with Alan Smith. Smithy has a goal per game ratio greater than one aswell.

yeah i know.

He is doing marginally better for Man U this season, he has 13 goals so far (about halfway there).

He has always performed for England, although in a AMC position rather than out and out striker...

I posted it because, like you, in my previous saves he has been a beast with high goal/game ratios and such, just seemed odd that he would suck generally in this save game.

Bought him on FM05 and he flopped like a dick setting eyes on Vanessa Feltz coated in chocolate. :-paul:

My season with Tottenham is over and I managed to do the double :clapwap: I got knocked out of the FA cup to Aston Villa...(N), two weeks later I beat them 4-1 in the league though.

Nice job, Socrates. Defoe really is a machine, 55 goals in a season :O. Could you post a pic of the formation/tactics you use?
I'm currently managing Newcastle United, will be posting some pictures when I finish my first season. Mickey Owen is a beast too :D:p.

I never got Tottenham to work. Ever since I play C/FM I always thought Tottenham would be a good game, but I always played crap with them. :(

Yup, I've tried to start with Spurs in Cm03/04, Fm05 and Fm06. None were a success.

When I joined Spurs after 4 years with Liverpool on FM05 though, I was quite succesful, winning the league 2 times and the champions league in 4 seasons

edit: I also opted for Tottenham to start and did some success.. it was not continious hence I was offered by manchester united during the second season.. then italy job offered.. then I got bored :fluffy:
