With all the problems he had last year, it just doesnt seem like money is the driving force of his life anymore, and if that isnt, why does he want to go to Turkey?

It's all very weird.

Because Fenerbahce will compete in Champions League..There are Alex de Souza,Appiah,Anelka at Fenerbahce line-up so why not Sol Campbell ?

yes but there are also teams like FC Thun and Anderlecht in the champions league - doesn't bridge the gap between Sol and the league he's playing in. Anelka hasn't played well anywhere he's been since...well since Arsenal. and Appiah wasnt that convincing when he was at Juventus, despite being crap most of this year, Sol is still a quality centre-back.

The problem isnt one of "why would he sign in the turkish league", its more "why wouldnt he sign in the best league his skills would merit"

I think Campbell could still find a home in Germany or Italy and would still be a competitive defender, assuming this years form wasnt a permanent dropoff

More than form, man. The drive is gone. He doesn't want it like he used to.

That sucks, eventhough I never liked the guy. I will admit, though, that running out on the team during the game is one of the most deplorable acts I can imagine in sports, and im surprised Wenger forgave him so easily.

If the fire is out, then its tough to say what to do, especially with a personally distracted guy like Campbell, but maybe a new scene under a hardass manager can get him excited again

In any event, he shouldnt be going to Germany, but Sven apparrently picks his squad from 3 year old video game ratings, so thats not Campbell's fault
