One more reason WE kicks Fifa's *ss

I don't know if any one has noticed this or not but.....

When you "train" your team before a match you will notice that the some player have an up arrow a down arrow or a side arrow....

Well if you include player with down arrows on the starting line up they play like sh*t.....because......THEY ARE WORN DOWN.....YOU NEED TO REST THEM IN ORDER FOR THEM TO GET BACK TO 100%....

I had a sh*t when I realized this.....THAT IS REALISM!!!!

These arrows indicate mentality/morale not physical condition. This does affect physical condition though.

Physical condition, i.e. stamina is the green bar.

...& the players' fatigue bar (tourney/league mode) to indicate whether a coach to play them or not in the next match. omg, talking about realism in football. This is what WE/PES win over FIFA.

But in Fifa you have the green bar, like what jumbo said. I mean its practically the same thing if you ask me.

Oh and some of you are still seeing who "wins"?

Err Rport03 it's a completely different thing. WE/PES have a green bar for stamina(ala Fifa) and an arrow that can only be seen in the formation settings screen.

so does fifa before going to a match if u look at ur squad it shows a fatigue bar

You don't get it do you. I play both PES5 and Fifa 06. So I know what each other lacks.

PES5 has got 3 bars especially when you play a league mode.
There's the:
The Stamina Bar
Fatigue Meter
Condition Arrows



And yeah one question why don't the Fifa 06 Opposition team controlled by the Computer in a league mode or manager mode never substitutes a player. Maybe they do when the player is injured or something,(not sure on this) but other than that the manager of the opposing Computer doesn't make any changes.

Atleast WE9/PES5 Opposition Computer controller team do make changes to bring in some fresh legs.

It would be a tremendous insult to compare PES with FIFA. Im sorry but they are at either ends of the scale.

Haha theres a new gameplay update for Fifa called NK Football. Fifa fans indirectly admitting Fifa is rubbish my modifying the game play so much. enough said. How many WE mods actually edit the gameplay? Hardly any.

What I see most is people with FIFA editing gameplay and people with PES/WE editing graphics... Hmm practically same sh*t but diffrent game, both having to edit something to make the game more authentic and realistic. One thing I really hate is people saying how much they need to edit Fifa's gameplay just to make it autherntic and realistic when they dont admitt how much they have to edit PES/WE in the graphics/sound department just to make it more authentic and realistic.

Even so.

The WE graphics are edited, not because they're bad, but because they're intentionally done slightly wrong for licenture reasons.

Whereas Fifa's gameplay is edited simply because its bad.

When WE kits are edited, they look exactly and precisely authentic.

When Fifa's gameplay is edited, it still sucks BIG TIME. Only slightly less that is originally was.

WE's graphics (Face/player model/animations) are MUCH better than their Fifa equivalent. There goes Fifa's so called Strength in Graphics.

The Gameplay is THE CORE of a computer game. Specially a sports game. And specially a soccer game. Take that away, and u've taken the game's essence away.

So basically, u can't pass the 'both are edited, both are the same' argument. Coz it just doesn't work here.

Hmm, and there ain't people editing Fifa graphics/sound department?
Come on authentic eh? Where's the Nike logo on kits like Manchester United..etc. Atleast when Konami gets a license they have everything for the kit (Arsenal on PES5 have the nike logo). And yeah you may say it's just a tiny weeny thing, but you were the one talking about WE/PES having to edit the graphics/sound department to make it authentic and realistic. Don't make it seem that Fifa graphics is already authentic and realistic out of the box, cause it really isn't.
