I am shocked by Wenger's selection. Where was Bergkamp, Ljungberg, Henry or Hleb? One of them played and got a goal.

Even if you knew that Henry is leaving in the summer, wouldn't you still playing him, until the last CL spot was cemented and then test how the team will do without him? I just don't understand the reasons for Thierry not starting against both United and Spurs.

Henry plays basiclly every game for us, with alot of games due to the CL we need him fresh. The chance of winning the Champions League is a big thing for Wenger he hasnt done it as much as it says it isnt this is his biggest chance

That finish was exactly what the old Henry was like when Arsenal were the Invicibles back with him Vieria, Pires, and Reyes. CLASSIC Thierry celebration just like he would have celebrated in 2003. The quiet yet cocky Thierry that we're all used to :)
aka "Henry-esqueness"

Just saw the Henry goal! It's crazy how a person can have such a quick and accurate control of the ball, damn. And he ran half the field celebrating again, just like 2 years ago.

this game really would have been topped off if we scored a second. i was going crazy but if we got that second this would have been one of the craziest and most enjoyable games ive ever watched. unfortunatley it was not to be :(

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger labelled Spurs "liars" in the wake of Saturday's North London derby at Highbury.

Emmanuel Eboue and Gilberto Silva were injured as Edgar Davids set up Robbie Keane for the game's opening goal.

Wenger claimed Spurs should have put the ball out of play, refusing to believe their explanation that they did not see the injured Arsenal duo.

"Their first goal was a disgrace. They lie when they say they didn't see it," said Wenger after the 1-1 draw. "I can't believe they didn't see it. Of course they lie. I find it very disappointing and it is a shame that a thing like that can happen.

The ref could've stopped the game, really. He saw both of them making an attempt to get up, so that's the end of it. Play to the whistle, if nothing else.

the ref actually check on the two if you watch the replay again... as both players start to play on again... so spurs has all the right to continue play...

Problem is, that Eboué, our right back who would of probably stopped the attack, was on the floor until well after the goal was scored. He could only get treatment once the goal was scored. THAT was the problem.

You didnt see Fabregas try to cheat when a spur player was on the ground. He actually walked it out for a throw in. I would have just ran down the line and done the same. F that.

obviously you dont know football and cannot comment on the situation. referees NEVER stop the game for an accidental injury unless it is a head injury. this was not a head injury, and therefore the ref had nothing to do with it. however, the spurs players should have put it out.

Instead of insulting people and saying that they don't know football just because their opinion is different than yours, why not just look at the Laws of the Game (yes, they do exist!)

FIFA Laws of the Game said:
The Referee:
• stops the match if, in his opinion, a player is seriously injured and
ensures that he is removed from the field of play. An injured player
may only return to the fi eld of play after the match has restarted
• allows play to continue until the ball is out of play if a player is, in
his opinion, only slightly injured
It has nothing to do with a head injury; the only requirement is that the injury is more than "slight". I'm sure if there were a Tottenham player down, and Arsenal continued play, there would be no complaints from the Arsenal fans. It's a North London Derby, what did you expect to happen?

ok - not head injury but a serious injury...

the sportsmanship, which is nto a rule, is something that all players do.

as you saw at the end of the game, fabgregas took out the ball in fair play also.

finally saying: yes, you are correct in assuming that what the spurs players did is 100% allowed. however, it is 100% not fairplay and a cheap move.

So if you were on the run, and you see 2 opposing players run into eachother, you will kick it out and not score? No you wouldnt. so stfu.

I'd like to bring up the case of Arsenal vs Sheffield United.

Sheffield United player down injured, Kanu doesn't know, he scores a goal.

EVERYONE SLATES ARSENAL. We're daemon reincarnate for doing sucha thing. We offer a rematch, which is rejected. Praised for offering the rematch.

The player isn't badly injured and plays on after the goal.

Same situation. But do we get a rematch? No. Because Spurs are ****s and a small time club.

I saw 3 occasions against Villareal last week when Arsenal players played on when a Villareal player was on the floor " injured". Where was the gunners sportsmanship then?

Arsenal looking for the moral high ground. I have never heard anything so hypocritical. This is the club that made diving and feigning injury an important part of their game. Give it up, you make yourselves look so foolish.

Wenger is a whinging hypocrite who should be up in front of the FA for his disgraceful touchline behaviour towards Jol. Its ok for Wenger ( with Dein on the FA board), but not ok for Mourinho......... :kader:

Teams do not trust Arsenal any more ( if they ever did). It is safer to assume that the player on the deck is cheating because it has happened so many times in the past. Apart from that every team in the EPL hates Arsenal with a vengence, so they will never be shown any quarter. So dont expect it.

Pede, don't accuse us of taking the moral highground.

Dider Drogba, Crespo, Joe Cole and Robben.

The first being the current biggest cheat in the premiership. Two hand balls, uncountable dives and for a 6'6'' guy damn he falls over a lot. The bigger they are the harder they fall right? I guess that's why he rolls around on the floor so God damn much.

Crespo. The magic magicion Crespo, he's so quick to heal his wounds, he does it as soon as the ball comes close to him when he's on the floor. Magical healing powers there.

Arjen Robben, nuff said.

Joe Cole, refer to Chelsea vs Newcastle for further reference.
