Release date for PC version of WE9I pushed back till April??

I thought the release date for the pc version of WE9 was this week along with the console. At least that's what EB told me last week but just I called 3 stores and they all say that the release date for the pc is pushed back to April.

Anyone else heard this or have I called the wrong stores??

I was on the phone with Vivendi Universal Games 5 min. ago and the guy on the phone told me it's coming out on the 7th which is tomorrow.
So let's hope and cross our fingers that it is true!

Hey Laz, I assume you got my email? You sure he knew you were talking about the pc version?

Something is screwed up here. The only site I see so far that has a Feb. 7th release date is Amazon. Most of the other retailers don't even have the pc version listed. Gamespot lists April 4th as the release date too.

A few hours ago, I checked the gamespot website and it still showed 'Feb 7, 2006', now it shows 'Apr 4, 2006'!! Oh, how sad!!

Well, the OFFICIAL Konami website still says Feb 7th so I trust them more than gaming websites to be honest.

No specific news on the PC release but it doesn't seperate it from the generic release date either.

Having said that - why on earth, when the game is identical to PES5, would it take them an extra 2 months to release it???

If this is the case, somebody needs to burn Konami America offices the f*** down and throw a lump of manure in it's place because they couldn't organize a waterfight in a swimming pool!

So when you say "local", does that mean you didn't purchase it from a retail chain? When anyone picks it up from one of the major retailers; BB, CC, Comp USA, even EB (??), could you please let us know?

hmm fortunately the title screen is different this time... not like in we8i where they just use pes4 title screen but change the writing of pes4 to we8i lol... yay for konami this time

Roomer is there any improvement in the foul system or are the referee's still whistle happy.Also what about the through balls and super intercepting cpu ai.
These were my major gripes in pes5 are they all still the same.

I've been busy playing online with other people and haven't really played a game with the CPU yet. In my opinion when playing with another human the number of fouls comitted seems to be less frequent, or maybe it is just that the other player and me knows that the game call for fouls easily and try to avoid fouling each other!
