Is it just me or are Football Manager 2006's sounds terrible? all i get during a game is a loop, no reaction to goals, hitting woodwork, refs whistles at appropriate times, if this isnt an error in my pc then SI need to get theirselfs in gear, if it is an error, anyone got any recommendations to help? and yes i do have all sounds set in my preferences

Can't be of any help because i always never install the sounds in the game, just don't seem to like it. I rather be playing music on the background.

The sounds are really crappy, actually, sometimes, when I hit the woodwork I hear a sound that is supposed to be the ball hitting the woodwork, but it does not sound like that at all! So i prefer to do what fender does, turn off sound and then play music in the background(H)

I play with sound and I listen to music from my flashlight/radio.

i wish not to comment what type of users use media player coz you will feel offended, but i have a lot more than that and there are many times better players than media player even for free. But seriously who would let himself suffer the pain of using such a crapy player with a "massive" ammount of music.. :nape:

I find it quite amusing when playing a really rubbish game with only 78 supporters bothering to turn up, and they make the same amount of noise as a world cup final crowd. Maybe it's the same 78 people who turn up to the world cup final.

Well I do notice a diffrence between the sound in a full Nou Campi and just some stadium from a conference north club. If you turn up the sound a bit you'll hear a diffrence.

about the media player comment : (H)!

The sound is just a constant drone to me, so i just turn it off. I dont feel sound is important anyway...
