Tournament modes in Fifa 2006

Hey guys, I am a convert to Pro Evo, but I am thinking of getting Fifa 2006 for my son, but first can you tell me if they have improved the tournament options in FIFA? The last version I played was 2004 and I was disgusted to see that there were hardly any tournament options that you could play with your friends. Like if we wanted to have a tournament with say, four people in it, in a league mode you just could not do it. Is this still the case?

Nope its changed now its so much better than 2004 you can now have even a two player tournament if u like but i doubt thats much fun. Anyways yeah u can play 4 player tournaments and also theres fifa lounge now which is like a bunch ov ppl 2-infinaty and its like yahoo pool with ur own points system so like if u beat someone you will gain points while they would loose points more or less like fifa world rankings its seriously kool. I seriosuly think that you would also like the game and not just ur son its much much better than 2004 anyways good luck

Another feature of the Fifa lounge is that by winning against others you unlock tricks u can use against that opponenet later on, such as stopping him from using certain players during the game. This would mean if u beat ur son and he's using Real Madrid, u may be able stop him from playing with Ronaldo next time.
