Hey guys... try enabling Vertical Sync on your video cards drivers...

If you have a Nvidia card, go to advanced properties and enable Vsync.

Which refreshing rate are you using? Because you might also try increasing the refresh rate if you are using 60hz.

So, if you are using a 60hz refresh rate and you will continue using that refresh rate, then enable the V-sync. But if the games runs ok at a higher refresh rate, then increse it.

Good luck.

Tell me if it helped.

vertical sync helps a bit, but it's still there. Unfortunately i don't think the game is optimized for LCD monitors. They kind of have a different aspect ratio which causes the screen to stretch a bit vertically. my guess is that their is not enough info on the screen to fill it up, so it breaks a bit around the middle of the screen.
Sadly, this is still an issue in PES5 :nape:

And it looks like this is still an issue in PES 6 as well.

I'm an LCD newb. I bought my first laptop a month ago and an LCD HDTV a couple of months ago. I'm seeing the same problem and thought it had something to do with my video card until I found this thread in a search.

I hooked my laptop up to my 40" LCD HDTV (looks pretty damn good) to play PES6 on it and it's far more noticable on my TV than on my lappy. It's a pity cause PES6 can be played at higher resolutions and now this. :nape:

I never noticed it on PES4 or 5, but I've definately got it on PES6. Running at the highest resolution, high quality, 85Hz, Nvidia GeForce 6800 Ultra. I don't think I should be getting this. I'll have a look at the Vsync option when I get home, but I think I've already got it on. :nape: :chew:

I already fixed the problem
I enabled triple buffering and vsync

Try to download the lastest driver and in 3D setting you can change the settings.

Good luck

I switched to the 84.63 forceware drivers, turned on Vsync and triple buffereng, and I'm still seeing the horizontal lines. It's still happening at widescreen resolutions.

I've got the same ripple/tearing problem on my x1800. I've tried using the crack and it still has the same effect.

Is it possible that this is because my monitor runs at 59hz when it is connected via DVI? I'm also using vista rc2 and the ati rtm drivers if that helps.

Could other people with the same problem please post up their pc specs so we can find what we have in common.

Ok, my actual configuration is:

NIVIDA GEFORCE FX 5200
FORCEWARE VERSION:91.47
REFRESH RATE: 60 hertz
TRIPE BUFFERING: ON
VSYNC: ON
RESOLUTION IN THE GAME: 800X600
QUALITY: MEDIUM

I had the same problem. BUt whit this configuration the game looks great
I only had to change the triple buffering and the Vsync

Hope this information helps

Seems like it might be the combination of VSYNC and TRIPLE BUFFERING that does it, then. Anyone know where the option for TRIPLE BUFFERING is? I'll have a look when I get home, as I've got the same problem on PES6. Never had it on PES4 or PES5. :boohoo:
