i mean i might be biased because i'm relatively young, so all i know of favre is his career the past 7-8 years or so, but he has so much heart and will that i don't believe he will allow green bay to suffer. yea i do agree chicago and the lions are definitely on the way up, but green bay is still green bay.

on a down note, jerry azumah had surgery to clean out his hip, which means he will miss a significant amount of preseason, 4 weeks i believe. injuries are startin to hit early again, not a good sign.

bears win!!!!!! bears win!!!!!!! interception in the end zone with 40 secs left!!!!!!!! boo yah!!!!!!!!

its sad that the most excitement a bears fan gets is winning a meaningless game with their 3rd/4th string team against arguably the second worst team in the NFL for a meaningless cause... :(

WE KILLED YOU BITCHESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS :hit:

AJ Feely is the luckiest man on earth.

Honestly even with Grosman in the field the bears are still an underperforming team.

Not really dude, this was the year I could've seen them surprise some people. But now :kader:, they are one of my fav teams behind the Panthers and Jets.

man it's not even the performance, nobody knows what the bears could do, because the team has never been fully healthy to make a run. if the team was healthy and they suck, okay they suck, but for the last 3 years they have been stripped of their chance because key players keep getting injured. i mean what the **** are the chances of such injuries happening to a player in consecutive years. these are serious injuries, i can't even begin to think how rex feels. all he wants is a chance to prove himself. now all he can hear is how he is a bust. he aint a bust if he never had a chance to prove that he's not. this is just a horrible day

Sh!t happens man.
My point is that even without TO injured last season the Eagles made the superbowl. Once a team gets to the winning side its hard to stop am even with injuries happening.

I mean look at the Giants and Jets. They keep on bying talent and where did it get tham? No where.

I like the Bears too but truth is they are a mediocre team right now with or wothout grossman.

I just remember how good being under center for the Iggles made Feeley look, what was it, 2 years ago? 3? Anyway, even Weinke couldnt pull that off

Blows nuts about Grossman though :( Former Gator who I really liked to watch in college and wish the best. But the preseason was bound to claim a big name victim, sadly, and though you never know who is going to surprise in today's NFL, the Bears didnt really look poised to make too much noise.

So is it now a given that Owens will be traded? It would be too unstable to keep him on when the franchise player doesnt get along with him, and his trade value must be sky high after last season. Where do people think he is headed??

Anyway, quick picks with no methodology
AFC:
North: Steelers
South: Colts: its got to be
East: Jets
West: The Silver and Black are back: supposedly their defense will be well revamped this season
WC: Pats (but they still go on to win the superbowl.....or not)
WC: KC to edge out the chargers

NFC:
North: Viks
South: Falcons
East: Philly
West: Hawks! and maybe they can show some spine this season!

They could Bledsoe reuniting w/ Parcells could be a surprise, I don't like their WR's tho. However their division is the weakest division in NFL so they could make a run.

grossman injured. wow. talk about bad luck.

good for the vikes though (H)

i for one think the cowboys will have a good year. bledsoe just has to hand the ball off the julius and hes got a real solid line. the d is unproved but definitely improved through the draft and FA with burnett, ware, spears, glenn, henry. secondary will definitely improve. switch to 3-4 could be the only downfall but i dont see it being that bad.

haha :D

Its cool that you think we'll win the division but even I'm not that optimistic. Yes, our offense will probably be one of the best in the league but our defense is going to be one of, if not, the worst in the league. There's absolutely nothing that can be done now to help out our D, its absolute crap. San Diego or Kansas City will take the division.

About Dallas, if Bledsoe can get some protection from the line, he should have a decent season. They won't win more than 8-9 games this year IMO but you never know, the NFC is pretty bad so anything can happen.

Boy was it good seeing Smith catch passes again :rockman: and I loved how our QB's fared tonight (except for Rutherford) Delhomme, Weinke and LeFors were great!

If only you guys saw this footage. Live. One of the funniest things ive ever seen.

Im enjoying every minute of it. I think it will bring the team together, because the whole team pretty much hates him. Jevon Kearse was mocking Rosenhaus and TO a couple days ago, and i was cracking up.

Im not worried. We beat the Vikings and the Falcons without TO anyway. If Buckhalter is out for the year, then ill be worried.
