About the feature: why not? Just sign up/log in, and post away (H)

JUST sign up??? You'd have to have an email that isnt @msn, @hotmail, gmail, or anything else well known though.

I do hope the board buying players for you thing has been toned down, or taken out completely? That's the reason I still stick with 5.0.2 at the moment. (H)
We have further tweaked all areas of the game - although 5.0.5 wasn't too far off for most people if they started new games.

Personaly tbh, i hate Si in many ways. tons of bugs, they add extremely little things in each version of the game, things that obviously could be in the previous versions but they always keep things out in order to have some tinny foolish things in the next version, (that simply does not justify the full game cost if you already have the prev game). The best example is player heights. They have it alrready in the game code since Cm4, but its disabled, and they are keeping that way untill the day comes to add it in a future version and tag it as "the Next huge addition to the game"

Go to hell SI fools. You're so lucky that will all this crap you give us, the game still remains good and no other software developper wants to build a realistic enough manager game. :nape:

Hmmm...can't say that I agree with much of this Alex. Regarding the price of the game, each year SI are going to have production costs regardless of the amount of new features that they put in. They're a company, not a charity so they're going to be after a decent profit. Given the cost compared to other PC games out there and combined with the scope of the game I'd say that FM 2005 was pretty reasonably priced.

If you believe the new features to be insignificant then do not buy the newer version of the game and simply update your database instead. At least there are new features. Look at the amount of depth in the game compared to say 00/01. Huge difference. Compare that to, for example, the FIFA series. EA will put a feature in then take it back out only to introduce it again as a new feature 2 or 3 years down the track. Year after year they've done it. What you are left with is a game that has less options than it's counterpart from 5 years previous.

I don't think that Football Manager 2005 is perfect by any means but I do think that SI make a genuine effort each year to provide the best game possible whereas many other companies do simply 'tread water'. Credit where credits due like.

yeah ok just need to find my account details somewhere in the never end list of gmails :brow:

Ruud there is no need for the player to be ultra expensive. The idea came to me from Greek clubs and the transfers going on atm. Rumours for players like Inzaghi and other players consider big bangs here. For example saviola was linked with a move to PAO but it was never officialy confirmed by the PAO board rumours just floated around. (Indeed from what i've learned PAO had a 2million euro difference with barca). Biscan to panathinaikos is big transfer and not very expensive (although greek clubs finances are heavily underestimated)

Well i just re-register coz i have no idea about the password and the username Z Legend hmm how did i come with that Nissan Car.....

*still haven't posted it coz i formatted my PC and my Outlook doesn't have the info for the email. So can't verify. Annoying but :sb9:

Really unsurprising. I was expecting to see FM in the list someone released two days ago with release titles for 360. I was surprised to not see it there, tbh. :p

This could be VERY popular in my opinion, the 360 needs a good management game and now its got it, i think it should have a big enough HD for it to work etc. I can see this being good for SI

Plus with power like th 360 will have i doubt processing time will be much of a problem. In fact it had better not be, Console users are notoriusly bitchy about having to wait around in their games.

There's more stuff you notice every time you see them (H)

No, they're not new, but they do have more shots than SI do. They seem to have collected all screens released to different press exclusively. :p

Are you free on tuesday? I will, no point in wasting them. There's also a tour of the stadium included.

PM me the name of the person that will go with you, and your e-mail address, and I'll notify Atari.
