Chivu is more versatile, faster, intelligent and younger than Samuel, aka better! I hope we get him. He plays central and side back, also winger and is great at corners ( he has a great long pass). He is also is younger! (Longer contribution and possibly a high resale value!). Chivu!

Hes also more injury prone though, and signing him, you have to have a capable backup, which is Materazzi I guess.

I still think Samuel arrives, why would Real leave him off America & Asia tours?

Id rather have VDM than Figo.

good comp (Y) did you make that Yoss? I like at the very end when Veron comes out of nowhere and grabs his shirt and yells at him (celebrating goal) and Recoba has a 'buddy wtf are you doing?' look.

:::

Im looking to get an Inter home shirt with Adriano on back (even though i know hes leaving next summer). I was gonna get the new one, but since it looks exactly like last years, and the 04/05 looks better, im gonna get that one instead. What are some good online shops to get it at, im trying to avoid ebay but want it at a cheap price. If you know a great Ebay seller youve dealt with before, than tell me i guess

yesterday was karaoke night at Inter training camp (seriously)

Not exactly sure where you live but if you are close to woodbine centre (they ship anywhere though), try giving these guys a call, because early August they will be getting all their new stuff, so I wouldn't be surprised if they had ridiculous deals on last year Jerseys. I paid 90$ for a brand new Inter Home Long sleeve (no name) when it just came out, so I'm sure it will be much cheaper then that.

Figo awaits Inter decision

Luis Figo has revealed that he would like to join Inter, but only if they act quickly to sign him.

The Real Madrid winger is surplus to requirements and has been made available for transfer by the Spanish giants.

Liverpool had appeared to be favourites until Real slapped a £2m fee on his head, allowing Inter to slip into pole position.

“It does not depend on me whether I should wear the Nerazzurri shirt,” the Portuguese international stated.

“I have given my availability – Inter know exactly what my demands are.

“But they also know that there are other teams who have contacted me. For now I have chosen Inter but they must act quickly.”

Meanwhile, Inter have also announced the departures of three of the club’s youngsters.

Midfielder Fabrizio Biava has moved on loan to Serie C1 side Lucchese, along with goalkeeper Mathieu Moreau.

But defender Luca Franchini, who has made two appearances for the senior side, has completed a permanent move to Serie C1 outfit Pro Patria.

Inter continue Samuel talks

Internazionale have confirmed that they are still locked in talks with Real Madrid over a possible loan deal for Walter Samuel.

The Milan giants are keen to add another big-name central defender to their ranks and have targeted both Samuel and Roma's Cristian Chivu.

However, the transfer block imposed on Roma could well scupper any hopes Inter have of landing the Romanian.

Inter chief Massimo Moratti has revealed talks are ongoing with Real over Samuel, but he insists payment for the loan deal remains a stumbling block.

"The decision (to block Roma transfer dealings) complicates transfer matters," Moratti stated.

"We continue having contacts with Roma and Real.

"For Samuel, we see if we are able to find money: there will be talks with Real next week."

MANCINI: "WE'LL HONOUR OUR COMMITMENTS"
Friday, 22 July 2005 20:48:58
RISCONE DI BRUNICO - In an interview to Sky this evening Roberto Mancini confirmed that Inter's tour of England will go ahead after Massimo Moratti did the same on Friday afternoon. "It's obvious that there's a bit of worry and fear because of what has happened in these last days, but we're only playing one match in London against Crystal Palace; we'll see if there'll be any problems in that situation," Mancini said. "The other matches are outside London and our base is also a calm town. So like I said before there will be no worries and we'll have no problems honouring our commitments."

On the transfer market, the Nerazzurri coach said: "Dr Moratti spoke today and I don't know what to add to what he has already said. He confirmed several dealings and we'll see what happens. Moratti spoke about Messi? He's already a great player and he's very young. He will soon become one of the best in the world. But he's at Barcelona and I think he'll stay there."

And on the possible arrival of a new defender Mancini said: "I don't think there's long to wait; just a few days at the most. The Champions League qualifiers are approaching and it's better to have a complete squad."

Maaaannnn......I only wish. I'm so out of it and inept when it comes to computer related media creations that it's not even funny. I have a hard time uploading media files as it is, man. Forget about putting it all together in one little neat montage.

Inter cancelled the tour due to security risks. I guess they were a bit worried about all the terrorist attacks that have been going on, and didn't want to take any chances.

COME TO NORTH AMERICA!!!

Clubs fume at Inter
by Graeme Bailey - created on 23 Jul 2005

Portsmouth, Crystal Palace, Leicester and Norwich have slammed Internazionale's decision to cancel their tour of England.

Inter were due to travel to England to face Pompey, Palace, Norwich and Leicester, but they have cancelled the matches due to security fears following the recent bombings in London.

Now chairmen of both clubs - Milan Mandaric and Simon Jordan - have been left fuming.

"It is very disappointing, especially for our supporters," Mandaric told Sky Sports News.

"I can't believe that something like this can happen, but the fact is it has."

Mandaric has some hope that Inter could be persuaded to travel to Portsmouth via Southampton airport, which may allay their fears.

"There is some hope they might come to Portsmouth through Southampton airport and we should know that on Sunday," added the Pompey supreme.

"We have proposed to come directly to Southampton, that is not being ruled out but we will know sometime soon.

"I don't think it is the right message, Inter is a big organisation and doing something like this, I don't think this is the right thing to do, there will be no danger and it is just very disappointing and is unacceptable as far as we are concerned."

Jordan was left fuming and he is ready to instigate legal action against the Italians, as they were due to play Palace as part of the deal which saw Gonzalo Sorondo and Nicola Ventola arrive at the club last season.

"Our situation is very different from the three other clubs where we did a deal where we spent £2.5 million on players and part of that deal was that they would come and play a game," he told Sky Sports News.

"So our feelings are more acute than those of Norwich, Leicester and Portsmouth because they [Inter] are in breach of agreement that transcends from a transfer when we signed two players from them.

"Looking at their motives and sentiments, I think it is pathetic, you have England v Australia playing in the middle of London and we are in the suburbs.

"It is cowardly, things are going on day to day, and they are going to allow terrorists to dictate to people.

"It is a very sad indictment of Italian football.

"I'll sue them, take that as given and their decision will prove expensive for them."

Leicester too claim they will look for damages from Inter.

"We are extremely disappointed in the actions of Inter Milan," said a Foxes statement.

"We will be contacting the Football Association and Uefa and we shall also be seeking substantial damages from Inter.

"The club has already incurred substantial costs in preparing for the fixture and we had expected a crowd of up to 30,000 supporters - all of whom will be very upset by Inter's late withdrawal.

"Regarding Inter's concerns over security, we have worked closely with the local police and safety advisory group and they informed us they had no security concerns for this fixture and were perfectly happy for it to take place."

Norwich City chief executive Neil Doncaster added:"We find Inter Milan's decision hugely disappointing and totally wrong.
"Pulling out at this late stage causes considerable inconvenience to our supporters. For Inter Milan to refuse to travel because of the threat of terrorism is simply giving in to the terrorists".

Yes, I can read thanks. Doesn't stop the judgement by the Inter execs being a crock of sh*t. :)
