i don't really want this to degenerate into sum stupid long distance, pointless feud over boots, with people making empty threats as seen before in this and other forums,
but i will say this:
i know im right, u know im right, everyone else reading this knows im right, and he knows im right too. he dosen't have to respond so he doesn't 'lose any cred' but he can just accept this time he was wrong, and should hold his hands up and admit it.
if i am in the wrong and he can 100% prove it, then i'll take it back.

the conversation is not over, it's a new colorway so it has a black outside and a white inside, the black definitely stops and the nike sign on the front toe leads me to believe the three's. I agree with you that it looks like a toungue and probably is a tongue, but you have failed to consider that nike does special things for the tops players, I know for a FACT that Luis Figo wear's his T90 III's with a tongue, just go back a lot of pages and you will see pictures of it, they even put the T90 II studs on the III's, so they do what the player want. So im guessing they did the same thing with gilberto, so the final verdict is that they are the III's.

they aren'r promoting the cleats they are promoting the jerseys. Some of the players are actually wearing adidas, so are you saying that arsenal and nike are promoting adidas cleats then too.
mind you that is and old picture, henry is still wearing the mist blue vapors , veira is wearing the euro 2004 preds and ashley cole is wearing the black/blue f50+

i have considered the possibilty of customized tounges, studs e.t.c and i have seen the pics of figo with the customized total 90 II's and III''s aswell as totti's studplate. but those guys are national hero's, one of the main face's of the brand (i know totti's left!) the 'beckhams' of thier team so the cant get that stuff.
anyway like the other guy said, gilberto is not a flashy player he sticks to the simple things. when he came back from injury he was still wearing the first colourway of the total 90 III''s
also consider the angle he is sitting at. the black line doesn't go straight down the boot, it curves.
what your'e suggesting is that they made a whole new boot for gilberto?

what ever I don't care it was trying just to put a point across, it no big deal, I can't believe we are arguing over this.
