i think the majority of the game was dominated by milan.. it was just the first 15 minutes of the second half where liverpool did very well, and then the rest milan had many chances...

Dudek is a good penalty goalkeeper guy, although he couldn't catch the simplest of balls...

Sheva missed that one ammaazzing chacne with 2-3 minutes of ET to go, i can't beleive that stayed out.. and than misses the penalty!

CONGRATS LIVERPOOOLL!!!!!!

btw, how are your celebrations goin?

SteveG is god. He drag the whole team to victory. Did you see that passes he made damn it is unbelievable.

If Gerrard leaves liverpool he will suck , well not suck but nto as good, he will be a simple player and not the love of the fans and the big leader. It iwll be just like beckham.

Congrats Liverpool, I think that was the most dramatic comeback I've ever seen; would have liked to see you continue pressing after the 3rd goal, but I guess you can't complain with the result. I was wearing my Liverpool jersey today and you made me proud, especially in front of my friend who wore his Everton jersey out of spite.

Stevie Gerrard is just simply one of the best in the world, perhaps the best in the world at what he does. Everyone have a Carlsberg tonight, and remember... Bayern will catch you at 5 CL Titles next year ;)

that comeback was out of this world.

Rafa is out of this world. his tactical change was a masterpiece!

the whole squad from the first round to last night deserve it all. they all played there part.

I been waiting so long for this and still can't believe we done it.

Uefa defiant over Liverpool entry

Uefa has insisted it has no plans to change its rules to allow Liverpool to defend their Champions League crown.

The Reds finished fifth in the Premiership - a place outside automatic qualification for the Champions League.

"I fully sympathise with the club and I would love to have them in there - but we have rules," Uefa spokesman William Gaillard told BBC Radio Five Live.

"We can't change them in the middle of the season. The FA has said Everton are the fourth English club to qualify."

Gaillard insisted that the precedent set in the 2000-01 season, when Real Madrid defended the trophy despite finishing fifth because the Spanish football federation decided to hand them Real Zaragoza's place, would make no difference.

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry made an earlier plea to Uefa to let his team in after the breathtaking win over AC Milan in Istanbul.

Parry said: "Look at the support, the worldwide audience and the game.

"I think we have to be given a shot. We are worthy champions and I think that's what the world will say."

What on earth? That's so crazy it could work!

Anyway. We have £30 million from winning the CL, plus we will probably get £10-15 million from sponsership. We are also European champions, and therefore a good club to join: Who will we sign this summer?

I think it sets a dangerous precedent, you know like rich teams buying CL places, but under the circumstances I think it's fantastic. As long as UEFA say only the previous champion may do it, it seems fine. I'd love for Pool to win it next year and then have to pay TNS 15 Million for compensation!

Plus we are on that FIFA World Club Championship, that now subs the Intercontinental Cup. That means we might aswell be World Champions. It would be great, even though it isnt a traditional tournament.
