UEFA Champions League Final - AC Milan vs. Liverpool FC

Best. Final. Ever. Now that i'm more calm to talk/reason a bit, i have to say i'm kinda sorry for Shevchenko. I was watching the game with my dad and my grandpa and i said : "now i want Sheva to score and then our 5th taker brings the title, i dont want Sheva to miss." Then Shevchenko goes on to take the most miserable penalty i've ever seen in my life.

Milan seem to have something going on against them when they have huge leads. Anyway, i'm not complaining, i support both clubs but i went with Liverpool because they needed it more. The underdogs won, i'm happy, and well, everyone who played today, can be considered Heroes. ******* Heroes.

After all this time waiting, we've finally won the CL again. Maybe next year is the Premiership? All i can say is that i'm too damn happy. That made my whole day, month, year, whatever. Sheva of all people to screw up on the last penalty though. Well, **** happens for everyone, i'm sorry for him.

Oh, and i have to say something else : DUDEK, YOU'RE A ******* BADASS!!!!!! BADASSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great game, incredble miss by Milan at end of OT.

Game looked great in Hi Def on ESPN2HD 1st european game in HD in a test run for WC2006 games next summer.

wow thats all i have to say, really disappointed in milan. congratulations to liverpool for their perserverance and ability to come back

of all games for Shevchenko to miss sitters, it had to be this one...

Enough smileys y'think? LOL. Anyway, Shev's penalty was a bit embarrassing...still, he was under quite a bit of pressure so you can give him a bit of a break.

Then again, he's only being payed gazillions...and the CL final's when you have to live up to all that.

the miss in front of dudek near the end of extra time was more embarrassing than the penalty miss for sheva. Unless you miss the net completely, you can't really blame anyone, it's either the goalie guesses right, or the shooter guesses right.

I totally agree with you. I would rather have the cup in england, then in italy again. Also helps england keep their coefficients up high. Plus i think all englishmen should have supported liverpool yesterday, because afterall it's their country being represented. I know that there is a huge rivalry between the two clubs, but i mean, when was the last time liverpool were on the same level with Manchester United? We owned Liverpool for so long, that it's hard even to call it a rivalry, kind of like Red Sox fans being rivals with the Yankees, when i believe the Yankees were beating them for like 70 years straight or something. And you can even see it when comparing to games with Arsenal, totally different level of approach. So better have the cup in england, rather than in italy.

nice game, I ******* woke up at 4:20AM to watch it. Second ******* game i've watched since i came to Australia.

I seriously thought everything was over by the time the first half ended. Exelent game by Luis Garcia and Caragher (sp?). Was Morientes injured or something, how come he didn't play? milan baros had a bad game, he was the opposite of caragher.

since he was bought from real madrid in january, and already played for them in the CL, he wasnt allowed to play for liverpool in any CL games.

Dudek was F****** Brilliant in the second half and in the PK shootout

I swear i'll never say a bad word about Dudek again. Sometimes its easy to be critical when he makes a mistake in the leauge. But tonight, the man was brilliant and his saves in the penalty shootout was just awesome. I just cant believe we've come back from 3-0 down at half time.

But i tell you i was in a pub in the city and it was pretty quiet at half time but the place started erupting when we pulled one back, and when we got it back to 3-2 i was off in the toilet throwing up cause i was celebrating too hard (was really drunk). And man, the place was alive when Alonso tucked away the rebound from the penalty to make it 3-3.

I'll never forget this game, NEVER.
