I would like to say this is the greatest comeback I have ever seen. I missed the first goal and started watching at around 22 minutes, saw Crespo (whom I thought was goina miss the game...Ancelotti pulling a Wenger but whatever
) score 2 brilliant goals and was left dumbfounded. I could not understand how this Reds team was even in the CL final. I went in for a long shower.....nearly 45 minutes and came out to have my lunch (around 4:15 p.m.) expecting maybe 3-1 and an attacking gameplan by Benitez....Gerrard giving everything in his final game...salvaging some pride in defeat. BUT I COULD NEVER HAVE IMAGINED 3-3....watched the rest of the game although there was nothing worth noting except for that 118th minute save by Dudek.
And .......then I said regardless of what happens in the shootout, they did their best...I am satisfied. But then Dudek took over and all I can say is that lady luck was wearing red today..not white but just red!
A bit surprised why Carragher did not kiss the Cup as he walked by it after receiving his winner' s medal....
So I cannot say it was the best comeback I have ever seen, but when I watch the replay, IT WILL BE !

I was watching on TV & was about to switch it off & I told myself give them 10 mins in the 2nd half, if the score, then they will have a chance ... & they did .......... I believe that in Milan's second penalty should have been repeated since Dudek went many steps forward. I hope that Liverpool doesn't turn in something like Manchester Utd. after winning their last Champions league.

And the Poland international saved from Andrea Pirlo and Shevchenko during the penalty shoot-out as Liverpool won the competition for the first time since 1984.
"I don't know how I did it," said Dudek of his save to deny Shevchenko in extra-time.
"It was fortunate for myself that I did it. Fantastic for me.
"I was waiting for this moment. I had difficult moments in this game but this is fantastic."
