Problem with changing to attack/normal/defensive mode during game

During the game, whenever I change the mentality (say, normal -> attacking), the formation will automatically switch to 442. This has been the problem for me since the first day I had the game. And it is very annoying cause I want to use 41212 to do catch-ups. A few re-installation has been done but none helpful.

Anyone has the same problem? Thx for any input!!

hello there....

well, you also can change mentality and so on during gameplay without paused the game....just press z + c.....then choose what you want (by pressing arrow key....up, down, left, right) :read: (Y)

By the way, while we are at it, I have one more question about low shots. I think the key is Z+D. But whenever I try that, it gives me the off-the-ball controls instead. Can you shoot low shots in FIFA05 with keyboard, other than just holding D for a shorter time?

well...about that, i dont know.... looks like its changing in fifa 05. unlike fifa 04, you can do low shot by pressing c + d, but now in fifa 05 it just fake shot. :taz:

In fifa 2005 the shot height is determined by the length of time u hold the shot button down.
If u tap the button it goes low along the ground and if you hold it longer it goes over the crossbar!!

power doesnt seem to be a factor as you can do a short tap from way outside the box and still put it into the bottom corner of the net.

I see, maybe the power only depends on the Shooting Accuracy attribute of the player. Thanks, let me try out the holding time = shooting height thing........
