5.0.5 exe file

All I needed was the .exe file for 5.0.5 but when I downloaded and clicked it a message said: "Cannot find data folder" Does the game have to be open or do I have to put the file a certain place in the directory? Thanks

The .exe is the actual .exe you start FM with. It's not a complete patch, just the .exe with the fixes already present.

Put it in the installation folder of FM 2005, overwriting the old fm2005.exe, and it will work :)
